excellent food and service. A great place to take more refined relatives. Ie Wealthy Aunts and Uncles. Owner is a doll and love the license plate on her car menopz ! Friday a great piano player Know every we song asked. Not overpowering like so many other restaurants that have pianos, you can still talk to your guests. In closing very cool and cheaper than you would expect.

We really enjoyed our experience. It’s hard to come by these traditional fine dining spots nowadays. Shorty was awesome!

When I come here, I come here with a group of eight or more people, usually. Anyway, lol, they(the owner and staff) always remember us, not necessarily our names, but our drink orders! This is impressive because we are only in there a few times a year! The food is always fine… cooked the way we asked for it, and is served hot. So no problem with food or service… The issue I have with this place is its dirty. Not like disgusting dirty, you stick to the floor, except where the roaches are. No, no, no… it is dusty, and cob-webbie…and I think it needs to be updated decoration wise, it’s very«full», and kinda 80’ish in deco… but that’s just me. So good food, really good service, but needs a really good dusting!

I’m a big city girl who loves fine dining, been to restaurant’s all over the world ! I must say I’m a big health fanatic where do I start with the extremely healthy way they prepare the food or the way they hand pick there produce & food products weekly. It’s ambiance is just like the website describes you get a Big VALUE or bang for your buck, love the piano player, he belongs in Carnergee Hall or Broadway ! Small town dining but big city feeling . The owner is a very lovely woman hands on always overseeing every detail. They even serve healthy tasty breakfast, I’m def a new client now !!!

My husband and I went for our Anniversary and since it was close to home we decided to give it a try… the décor was alittle weird but we weren’t there for the décor… the waitress was attentive and that was a plus for us… we decided to order champagne since we only drink once a year… the most inexpensive thing on the wine list was 8.50 a bottle we were advised when we ordered it that it was for a small bottle and small was right probably a half a glass a piece but, ok… we both ordered steak and sides … Mediocre at best… so not worth the price… we decided then it would be our last visit… we were comp’d the champagne which was considerate… if your going for service it will work out for ya… if your going for ambiance and great food… keep going!!!

A small restaurant with great service, we have only experienced dining here once, but my wife and I loved it. Nice change of pace versus restaurant chains. They even had someone playing the piano. Nice touch! The environment is mostly older customers.

Just had a business lunch here. Décor is strongly Victorian inside. Outside, it’s a strip mall! This place is really popular with the ladies for afternoon tea(they have a tea room). Good for groups. Excellent menu. We had the Ruben sandwich, the cheesesteak sandwich and the Colorado southwestern salad. All were excellent and we finished up with key lime pie and pecan cobbler ala mode. Fantastic. We will be back with our wives. Unexpected quality in Spring.

Visited for a wonderful lunch date. It was after the lunch crowd, which is the time I like to hit up places. For those not in the know, this is a great date place; casual, yet elegant and romantic. –The food is excellent; delicious and really good portions.(Our main courses would have been nicer with fresh herbs instead of dried, but it was delicious none the less.) –The staff was great; attentive and friendly. — The ambience is nice and clean. (I don’t like fighting for a table or for service. So it was quiet, except for a large party in the banquet room, and it was romantic. I don’t know what that other man is yakking about. It does not look or feel like a funeral parlor. My husband loved it also, and I’ve taken friends there for lunch who had nothing but nice things to say about the food and the service. Also, it takes time to prepare fresh food; duh. It’s not fast food.)

I was at a nearby table when Ernie S.(who wrote a stupid and untrue review) was there. He walked around the restaurant taking photos and acting smug, so you could tell he enjoys bashing businesses. The owner went to his table and asked how everything was and he replied that it was great, then he proceeds to bash everything there. The sign in the front States that there is a pianist –but it doesn’t say anything about vocalist. This guy is just a complainer and when nothing exist to complain about, he makes up garbage.

First and foremost, the décor is really something else; I felt like I was having dinner in a funeral parlor. I kept expecting the waitress, who was dressed entirely in black, to ask us if we would like to come and see the deceased. The food was bland. Not terrible, just not that good. The service was attentive, but a little sweet slow. I have the ribeye, which was seasoned well, and tasted pretty good but it wasn’t very thick, and was a little overdone for my tastes. Usually in Texas when you ask for a steak to be medium rare, it comes out bloody(which I really like.) Everything else about the meal was unremarkable. The piano player is quite good, but don’t expect any vocals.

I moved to Spring two years ago and had been dying to try this place. I went on a Monday night, only one other couple was dining. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. My dinner started off with Black Ice Tea(very delicious) and their pueblo soup(Tortilla soup without tortilla strips) and some cheese bread. That was very tasty and very filling. Then she brought out one of the dinner specials: tilapia with a dark cherry, mushroom and prosciutto sauce. Paired with asparagus and rice, it was delicious! I ate every last bite! :) The price was a little more than I had anticipated(paid almost $ 37 w/tip for myself) but overall, the food was real good and I’ll definitely come back with my husband! The waitress was kind enough to show me around at the different private rooms. I can definitely tell the owner puts great pride in her restaurant. Glad I finally went :)

I used to sell Evelyn her food, although never ate at the White Flamingo, my loss! I brought my business partner there for lunch and told him you have never seen a place like this, because it is unique. If you want deep fried food you are out of luck. I had the best Reuben that I have ever eaton. Spinach artichoke dip disappeared(yum). I know what they buy for their fresh cut steaks, and I am in. From their former food vendor. Eat Here it is Awesome! Quite and cozy!

Strange Décor. Very expensive. Food is good. Been here twice. They had a few take out orders but we were always the only dine in customers. I like the location because it’s close but for the prices they charge you could go to Perry’s.

We went there last night with a group of 14. Service was good, food was good. This was Saturday night and there was live piano music. Not to loud just right. Main course took some time but that’s ok as we enjoyed the music. Great date night restaurant.

A coworker and I ordered lunch to go today. We had a very short time for lunch so called our order in ahead of time. We were told 20 minutes, but 30 minutes later we were still waiting. The owner/manager then proceeded to chastise the server in front of us saying that he should have known better than to tell us 20 minutes when pasta takes longer. Our food finally arrived, but was packaged awkwardly. If you are going to offer a to go service then you should have the right supplies. Our soups were put in to go cups and the spinach artichoke dip described on the menu as a «flavorful cream dip served bubbling hot» was dumped in the small compartments of a large to go container. The broccoli cheese and loaded potato soups were okay. My chicken salad sandwich was very good with fresh apples and grapes, but my friend’s house salad looked thrown together. We also received a container of Parmesan bread crisps which were anything, but crisp. The restaurant itself is dark and had kind of a musty smell when you walked in. It could really use a make over.

Today my husband I gave this place a try for breakfast. Our waiter was very friendly and our food was quite good. I had a ham & cheese omelet and«hash browns» which were really home fries or fried potatoes but who cares? They were yummy. My breakfast also came with my choice of bread and when I have a choice, I always choose a homemade biscuit. It was the best! Crusty, buttery outside & fluffy on the inside! Two thumbs up on that. NOW, in response to a person who gave a less than favorable review on this place with the first item being sited the décor I have to say it is a little out of date. BUT, the time and cost involved in decorating when this style was trendy would make me want to postpone an update. I think people forget that there is time, energy and money that goes into decoration and with that being said, it would make it a difficult decision to wipe it out and start fresh. Besides that, maybe the owner loves it and after all, it is her place! I would make only one suggestion for them. Because this is actually primarily a fine dining establishment the have quite the fancy set up on the tables with beautiful dishes and glasses and what not. It is a little over the top for a casual breakfast. So my suggestion would be this: Make part of Friday and Saturday night closing be to clear the table of the usual service ware to allow for the more casual breakfast. I look forward to giving this place a try for dinner service soon!
