Went for lunch. I orders the chicken fried rice. The portions were large. I had more than enough food to split the meal in half and save for lunch the next day. The prices were reasonable. I ordered off the lunch menu. The order came out fast. The food taste great and the service was excellent during the busy lunch hour.

Worst place ever. I ordered veg fried rice for lunch and I couldn’t even eat more than 3 spoons. It felt like they just dumped all the left overs in my box. On top of it they charged me 12 $ for lunch. They literally cheated me. I was in a hurry hence just left. But beware of this place.

I love this mom and pop type restaurant. It’s so much better than the chain buffets. The Hot and Sour soup is delicious and they have lunch specials for $ 5.50. The food is hot and fresh and the service is good as well.

The food here is great and fairly cheap. It can be hard to find on the street but its rewarding when you do. The crab rangoon are wonderfully creamy and delicous and the phở I usually get is always good. The menu itself is a diverse mash up of normal americanized chinese, plus vietnamese and thai. So if any of those strike you then you can find something you like for sure.

Worst Phở ever. It tastes like ramen noodles with mystery meat. And they did offer chop sticks. Yuck

I LOVEPHO! That being said, the first thing I do in a new area is search for it. I went here because of location hoping the reviews were wrong. Nope. Phở was bland and had almost no flavor and didn’t come with bean spouts, Thai basil, or peppers. And no Hoisen on the table??? If you have never had Phở, go someplace else. If you love it, definitely go someplace else. Blah.

This place was absolutely terrible. The fried wonton had very little pork and could have threw it through drywall. I about shattered my teeth biting in to it. The noodles had little to no flavor at all. Now I know why the portions are so big. That gets them business through word of mouth. I apologize, I normally don’t like to write reviews.(Especially bad ones.) But I was so upset, I didn’t want to pay my friend I work with who put it on his card.

Food was just«ok.» The Singapore noodles were bland and had no spiciness to them like I’m used to(I’ve had better). The Szechwan Green beans were excellent though! I can’t complain about the portion sizes because there was plenty for 2 – 3 people to share!

The phở I tasted was substandard. If someone never had phở before and tried it for the first time here, they would never order it again. The broth tasted like a plain beef base. I could not eat more than one spoonful. The tables were sticky too.

Never was a fan of Chinese food. Never really liked but this place OMG! I love it! I always get the sweet and sour chicken with white rice. Never disappoints. I’m not brave enough to try something else but when and if I do I know to come here! Best place for Chinese food hands down!

This place has incredible Chinese food but in my opinion the noodles are what separates this place from the other mom & pop chinese or Asian resturaunts in town. I wish they had places that served noodles like this in Phoenix. Only in Las Vegas have I found comparable noodle places. The shrimp wonton noodle soup is absolutely awesome! There dishes like Hunan Chicken have incredible flavor. The prices are very good. I have been eating here since this place opened in I believe 1995. I remember my mom writing me a letter when I was out of town(This was before I had email) and telling me about this incredible new Chinese place that she couldn’t wait for me to go to. I loved this little place and our family for a couple of years would eat here weekly. There used to be long waits to sit down every night. When PF Changs opened in Cincinnati in I believe 2001, and then later the Tri-County area began to go through a depression(which it has only gotten worse not better) with the mall now almost Vacant, This restaurant is no longer the super crowded place it was 15 years ago. I think the area it’s in going downhill has a lot to do with that along with the more corporate PF Changs opening. Don’t let this fool you though, incredible restaurant that is every bit as good as it was in the late 90’s when it was packed. My only complaint is that they do not take credit cards.

Very fast service, large menu, cheap. Flavor-wise, I’ve had better, but it satisfied my craving for noodles. I could take it or leave it, especially since I’m rarely in this neighborhood.

Not many Asian fast food places in the area have Thai offerings, so I was excited to give LuLu’s a try. I could eat Tom Kha Kai(a coconut milk and broth soup with chicken, mushrooms, lemon grass, scallions, cilantro, and lime juice) from Teak in Mount Adams every day of the week and have been wanting to find a place that serves it closer to home or work. So, I ordered the Tom Kha Kai and Szechwan green beans. The Tom Kha Kai was off-putting in appearance. It had a layer of hot sauce floating on top that looked an awful lot like grease. Other versions I’ve had didn’t have this, and I thought maybe they gave me the wrong thing. As soon as I pulled the lid off though and that wonderful coconut/cilantro/lime smell hit me, I knew it was right. It turned out to be absolutely delicious. The order of Szechwan green beans was enough to feed 2 – 3 people. I’m betting there was well over a pound of beans in the container. The sauce was tasty, but there was way too much of it. Next time I will ask for less. The credit card thing is a bit of an issue. According to VIsa’s web site, it’s illegal to charge a surcharge on debit cards. Retailers can only surcharge credit cards, and it cannot be a % fee. I ordered with one other person and our take-out meal was over $ 20. Kind of a lot for take-out.

I have been frequenting Lulu’s for many years and I always enjoy going back. After a long absence I strolled in today and was greeted with a «Hi John! Here or to go?» I really have enjoyed getting to know the staff through the years. On Wednesday’s I always get the cashew chicken. $ 5.25. What I’m really after with this meal is the eggroll and their hot mustard. I love the mustard in a masochistic way. It’s always fresh and full of flavor and heat. Wasabi lovers will really enjoy. The noodle dishes are the real treats. Is the food 5-stars? Nope, but’s it’s plenty good. I just really enjoy this place.

2 years later still Not disappointed on a great lunch. I took my girlfriend Toey for lunch. I’ve been wanting her to try the coconut chicken soup, first thing I ordered… OMG!!! Unbelievable great taste. My girlfriend said it taste like Thai home cooking in Thailand. Fresh tender chicken, cilantro, lime juice flavor with mushrooms. I order the thick noodle dish, that was good. And curry thin noodles. As I said again sensational lunch. Next time I’m not waiting 2 years, it going to be 2 months or sooner coming back… yummmy.

I’m never sure what I’m going to find when I go to a restaurant labeled as Chinese. Usually, I find that they have really bad Americanized Chinese food. I’ve seen some enthusiasm for this restaurant, so I decided to try it. Since the location marker on the map was on the north side of Kemper Road, I needed to do some extra driving – it’s in the same strip mall as Cord Camera. I walked inside, didn’t know the routine, but I was going to walk to the counter to order. I was asked«for here or to go?» and when I answered«for here», I was suggested to «have a seat». There is no sign to seat yourself. That same gravely-voiced woman brought me a menu. I flipped it over, thinking that it was in Asian order. Oops! This took me to the noodles page. I saw a couple of items that looked good: Tom Yum Mee and Singapore(Mee). I went through the rest of the menu but didn’t see anything particularly memorable. I ended up ordering iced tea and the Singapore noodles. Another dear lady delivered the noodles and asked if I wanted chopsticks.(I almost always use chopsticks – even for American food at home.) I was surprised that the food was ready so quickly. They didn’t have that many customers inside the store but it seemed as though they just pulled it out of a pot. $ 8.50 seemed a huge price but the portion of food was even more huge. I only ate about 30% of it and brought the rest home. Iced tea was $ 1.99 but that included refills. The little plastic root beer mug wasn’t exactly adult size, though, and there was plenty of ice. The tea was good, though. I expected more flavour from the Singapore mee. It had curry and chicken and prawns/shrimp and scallions, but it wasn’t bursting with flavour. I bet they didn’t add MSG, thankfully, but it needed something extra. Still, I’ll return to try something else, such as the Tom Yum mee, to see if it’s more like what I’m expecting.
