A really easy walk in Zion. It’s also a great place to watch the setting sun’s light shine on the Watchman(rather than congregate with the crowd at the bridge). You can enter the trail at multiple points(e.g. campgrounds, behind the museum, etc.). It’s not a route for anyone looking for something strenuous :)

Dogs are allowed on this trail, one of the few in Zion where that is the case. Access this trail from the Canyon Junction stop on the shuttle. Not the best hike available but one of the less-traveled ones, maybe more privacy here during peak hours so you aren’t right on top of other hikers. Due to it’s increased seclusion over other trails, more wildlife seems to be found here– though if you have a dog with you, YMMV.

Our stay in Zion National Park was not as long as we wanted it to be. This was the only hike we were able to do on this hot day. The Par’rus trail is the perfect trail to do when the temperature is hot. It’s a nice, level, easy hike with no crowds. It’s about 3.5 miles round-trip, and took us less than 2 hours to complete. We actually had a lot of breaks cause we were taking quite a few pictures so you could probably do the hike in 1 hour. The views of Zion are wonderful. The trail passes a campground and portions of the Virgin River where some people were swimming. We saw more rabbits than people on the trail I’d recommend walking this trail for an easy hike. As the previous review stated, you can even bring your dog on the hike. It’s the only trail in Zion where this is allowed.

An excellent and surprisingly underused paved trail in Zion national park. This totally flat trail starts at the visitors center and follows alongside the Virgin river until the Canyon Junction Shuttle stop. There are several scenic bridges and river access points. Even dogs are allowed on this trail(a rarity in National Parks). Great trail for the kids and the stroller, though there isn’t much shade, so you’ll need the spf. You can really appreciate the majesty of the red rock mountains on this trail. It’s a must-do while in Zion.
