Golden Crust

The store can use some improvement.
For starters why are the only patties available on a sunday at noon are shrimp???
Secondly: Why did i ask for cocobread and the lady was hesistant to give it to me?
Third: Why was my patty hard and meatless?
Overall too many whys and not enough hows… please find out how you can improve. Gold Crust is such a wonderful franchise… please do not put its name too shame.

went here on 9÷4÷14 and was pleasantly surprised how the food was. I ordered a Jerk chicken sandwich and a side order of plantains, as well as some patties. The jerk chicken sandwich was a nice sized meal and was cooked quite well. great flavor (a little over powered by the mayo that was put on it), however still very tasty.
the plantains that was ordered was good (but was told that they were not ripe yet when they were cooked), but with some jerk sauce, they made them very good.
I ordered a mild, and spicy beef patty and those were really good. The jerk chicken patty was not that good though, as there was not much meat inside of it.
my friends ordered the stewed beef and oxtail and were quite happy with the meal as well.
The staff member was very attentive as was the cook in the back. this was my first time at a golden crust and it was a pleasant experience so i’d probably go back.

They never have enough patties 1^st of all, i bought a carrot cake from here once never again, that cake was so dry and crispy i wanted to take it back because it seemed spoiled or not good anymore but I was already home, and on top of that they serve with attitudes. Don’t waste your time going here

Service and attitude sucks. If you’re not African American they treat you like garbage. They will take another when in the middle of helping you. Very rude. .and very cheap with meat. Always runs out of food and will not make you anything else

If your in the mood for authentic West Indian cuisine than avoid this location and look elsewhere. I’ve been at a number of their locations and the food is usually not fresh and/​or overlooked. But it’s the service that left me with the worst impression. Patties always seem to be old and dried out. It’s a shame since they’re usually the most convenient Jamaican restaurants in the area.

Good oxtail horrible soup so I give them three stars … But on a side note you can’t get a better beef pattie anywhere else than golden crust.

Just don’t do it to yourself!
I had a taste for a chicken pattie. It was 2:00pm on a Sunday and there were no more chicken patties left. Huh? Are you serious? I order the jerk chicken pattie instead. It wasn’t bad. What was bad was the girl working the counter. She talked on the phone the entire time she was helping customers and then looked annoyed whenever someone stepped up to the counter.
Never again!

Good cheap eats! Love my ox tail… yum!

The people who work here are rude and busy looking to see what you have on your feet instead of serving you with a smile or hello but the chicken patties are delicious other than that they need to hire new staff without an attitude
