A New Leash on Life Thrift Shop

This is a very well organized thrift shop with a lot of interesting things to look at. My friend and I spent about 45 minutes browsing through all the treasures. The place is clean and organized. We both found things to purchase on our day in. I also love that this store benefits a no kill shelter here in the Ozarks. For that reason, I have chosen them as my preferred donation recipient. They are registered and provide receipts for your tax man. They have clothing, to knick knacks to jewelery, to household items to small furniture. It was a fun place to look. NOT junky like so many thrift shops are.
It is worth a rainy afternoon to check it out.

This place needs an updated review. It isn’t bare wallled. It is busting at the seams with good stuff and their turnover is tremendous. Don’t wait to buy here. It will be gone next time you come in. I have shopped there twice now. Both times, I’ve found interesting wall hangings, a splendid collection of jewelry from classic to funky to quirky. Are you setting up housekeeping? Fresh faces college student? Get over here to buy all the kitchen things you will need! Collect pyrex or need a special size casserole? Check it out. I will be donating here also. The charity does help a no kill animal shelter in the ozarks which in and of itself is awesome. This place is cluttered and yet tidy. Clean and friendly. Stop in today. You’ll be happy you did!

This thrift store has a charitable mission. It supports a no kill animal shelter in the area. Because of this, it is stocked and staffed completely by volunteers. That alone makes me want to stop in when I can to support them. I spent a considerable amount of time here in 2011 when it was very well-​stocked but at my last visit in December 2012, the store was pretty bare. Hopefully they’re not struggling. It is not a place for serious antique shoppers but they do have a nice fun mix of home décor items, quite a few cookbooks, some furniture, and some clothing for sale.
