Lots of deals. Also, its fun to people watch because there are always some interesting patrons. Sometimes you have to look for the deals but this place always has something you probably need. If your bored and want to go shopping but just don’t know what you want to buy, I recommend Big Lots.

I love Big Lots. I love saving money and a good deal even more! Big Lots is a store I can just go in and browse and be content without buying a thing. Just like with any of the «discount» chains, you have to make sure you are actually getting a good deal and not paying just as much if not more than retail.
Big Lots carries a mix of seasonal items, furniture, groceries, clothing, cosmetics and I am sure I am missing other things. Lately, I have noticed some great deals on some beautiful pictures. My sister purchased several gorgeous pictures for her home.
Today, was the first time I noticed the «Jessica McClintock» brand. There were some comforters, candles, pictures, and various other décor. The items were pretty, but for Big Lots (and I guess me), just a little too pricey.
If you are around a Big Lots, it is definitely worth browsing.

I love Big Lots stores in general, and would give most of them 4 or 5 stars. However, I’ve just never liked this location as well as others I’ve visited. It doesn’t have the same sort of upbeat vibe and the staff seem pretty annoyed at having to wait on customers. Their stock looks «old» somehow, like it doesn’t move as quickly as the merchandise at other locations. This store is always messy and a bit dirty — although it does look like they are trying to clean it up. The last time I was there, they were painting some of the shelving units so hopefully that is a sign of better things to come. I’ve never seen an associate anywhere near their furniture section, either. The good thing is, it is Big Lots, so there are some nice bargains to be found and all of the standard merchandise I have come to expect from this chain.
