I purchased an engagement ring, three weeks before Christmas. The sales person was very polite and patient with me, then the owner Gary Block helped me. He took his time and explained and showed me the different grades of diamonds. I would recommend to anyone planning on purchasing a engagement ring or any jewelry, to go to Block jewelry.

everyone know that my wife is just recovering from breast cancer. She wanted to get something nice for herself. She was sold a gold bracelet for $ 400. She was not told or knew the bracelet was hollow. Consequently it got crushed. We took it back to the store. The male jeweler was rude to the older man it the store and totally obnoxious with us. I told my wife she got ripped and he became even more obnoxious. We thought this was a family business not a franchise which doesn’t care about the average customer. NEVER again block. I only regret I couldn’t give negative stars

Worst customer sService ever I want to get my watch battery replaced and the lady behind the counter, an old blonde looks about 55, told me Gary was on the phone! I asked if could help me then she says she can’t repair the watch she doesn’t know if she has the tools I could leave it with them if I’d like so I left. How can you work at a jewelry store and not know how to replace a freaking watch battery worst customer service ever

Blocks was amazing! I went in for an appraisal and I was waited on immediately. The process took less than 20 minutes and everyone there is so personable and kind, it was a great experience. While I waited I definitely found some jewelry I would like to purchase in the future! All of my jewelry needs are now coming from Mr. Block and his team!

I purchased an engagement ring for my now fiancé and I could not have been more pleased with the service that Gary from Block Jewelers provided. Unlike many of the jewelers on Jeweler’s Row, Gary provided me with many options and never tried rushing me into a decision, but he provided tremendous feedback when I asked for it. When it came time to find the engagement band, Gary allowed me to find a band and a separate mounting that I thought were a great combination and soldered them together for a custom ring. This was something he did not charge extra for. I do not believe any of the negative reviews as Gary took all the time I asked for to help me through this process. I will be going there when it comes time to purchase my wedding band!

You get VIP treatment at Block regardless of the size of the business you go in for. Just picked up my new engagement ring and insert, it took a lot of visits and each was a pleasure. Lot of advice and excellent attention to detail. Gary sure knows his stuff!

Great store have been going there for 38 years. Moved to Florida 10 years ago still do business with them would never go anywhere else for jewelry needs.

I have been going to Block for years and have never had a bad experience. We have haf jewelry appraised at this location for our insurance. I also purchased a chamilla bracelet and charms over the years. I take my watches to have the batteries replaced and it is either done while I wait or in a timely fashion. The staff is always couteous and pleasant and you are greeted warmly when you enter. If the staff is helping other cutomers you are greeted and told they will be right with you. They have always been up front and honest about anything I jave ever asked, including if they could fix a ring. Instead of saying yes they explained they could not fix someone elses handmade design. I appreciate that honesty because it is what I look for. The quality of jewelry they carry is apparent and has always appraised for higher than what we paid and I would say their pricing is fair. They are also capable of making a special request item if they dont carry it. I highly recommend checking them out!

When we needed help Gary made it happen trade in your old stuff toward the purchase of new. Anything that can be done Gary will do!!! Just had a great experience. My fiancé was having a tough time finding my engagement ring because I wanted a colored diamond. After looking all over the place, he finally found the perfect ring at Block Jewelers. The owner personally picked out all of the diamonds and knew right away he had the perfect ring for us. We will absolutely be coming here for our wedding bands and other jewelry needs!

So twice I have come here to inquire about watch repairs or cleaning for my Citizen watch. When I asked them a while back if they can clean watch bands they said no. Fine, I’ll let that go.
But this time around I asked if they can fix a Citizen watch band that had a loop come apart. While I acknowledge that Citizen can be difficult from a customer service standpoint (which I am finding out now), the gentleman at Block Jewelers basically just gave me Citizens phone number and wished me luck. So despite being a Citizens dealer, they won’t even consider helping you get a part for a repair.
I want to let the owners at Block Jewelers know that one of their competitors down the street offered to deal with Citizen to get the watch fixed for me. Even though they told me it would take a while because that’s how Citizen is, they did not send me off with a «good luck dealing with them» attitude. They at least were willing to try to help me.
Block Jewelers, it’s called customer service. I don’t care how long you’ve been around. You need to learn a thing or two about it.
