Hired this person and a plumber back in the 90’s to work on a building. She went to the newspaper with our private business plans — after being paid by us! — claiming that the building had to be torn down (and thus gaining favor with those that wanted to force us to sell them the building to be torn down for parking).
Hindsight is ²⁰⁄₂₀. She was wrong about the building, it was able to be fixed, and made viable again. She violated our confidence, and her ethics by not only discussing our project with our competition in private, but by going to the FRONT PAGE OF THE NEWSPAPER, with «facts» that turned out to be wrong, and put us in a bad light. We were totally blindsided, she didn’t discuss this with us in any way, warn us, nothing…
This is the kind of help that you don’t need to hire, she caused us a nightmare, and violated our confidence.
