Mardi Gras

Just spent half the night on a Tuesday trying to get service. Worse staff on the planet and Manger didn’t seem to care. To make things worse, it was my friends birthday.

Club room upstairs so you Don’t HAVE to sit at the stage if you don’t want to. Great place to have a few drinks, dances, play keno, have fun or just to relax. Massage girl gives great massages and shot girls are fun!

Me and my wife love love love this place! The women are freaking hot and have the best tit and asses around. The wife is always getting a face full of boobs and beaver when she goes by all the girls working on stage. The drinks are bit pricey but its worth the trip going.

Always a good time, management is great as well as the entire staff, safe place to hangout. Great drinks, football, give a ways, etc

Out of all the area strip clubs, this is by far the best one. The girls look clean, smell good, have nice bodies, and most are pretty.
Very inviting and there is a men’s strip club next door as well. Convenient to go back and forth.

I went there with a pocket full of cash ready to spend it and have a blast, but honestly none of the women were worth it. Only a few of them said hi, they acted bored and like they hated their jobs. The bartender was the friendliest girl there. Some were attractive, but non of them seemed like professional dancers, no one ever offered to give me a dance. Worst strip club ever. They need better management. Next time I’ll take the drive to CT where the real strippers work. I did find a few ladies to tip on stage, they will show you everything for $ 2, so if you just want some labia in your face, for a few bucks, this is a great place for you.

Meh, the girls were acting all bored. No hustlers. I was there to spend some money and I couldn’t even. Eh. Disappointing.

Lately it’s been hit or miss here. It seems to me that ever since the girls who dance there sued the Mardis Gras and now are on hourly wages that they just don’t want to work. The girls never come up on stage when they’re called and there have been numerous times — September 5, 2013 for example — when my husband and I were sitting there for half an hour to maybe 45 minutes and there was only one dancer on the stage and she was on the other side working the poles and not looking at the other patrons who had money out. I was really to the point where I wanted to get up and walk out. Not only that but the DJ called up at least six girls for their next set and two showed up. Most of the time the dancers are standing in front of the mirrors primping and preening until their set is done and they can get off the stage when there are people out there with money.
Another thing that I think came with the whole hourly wage deal is the fact that they don’t take their clothes off. There are maybe one or two who do – and that is on a good night — but the rest don’t. They dance, they show a little bit of skin, they move their britches aside to show a little bit more but that’s it. And it’s disappointing. Not for nothing but I’m going to this particular club because it’s clean, nice and the girls are gorgeous. I am going there because I want to see naked women. If I wanted to see someone prancing around in their bra and pantie set I’d throw on my own and prance in front of my mirror. Not only that but last night one particular girl who was dancing for us had the gall to tell my husband that if he «wanted to see more he has to put up more money». Ummm, really? You want me to PAY MORE for what you’re supposed to be showing already? Guess who didn’t get any more money from us after that?
In the past the managers and bartenders were on the girls to get their butts up there and dance. They also had a time limit of how long they were to keep their clothes on when up on stage but it seems like that is all in the past. It seems like management doesn’t really care whether or not the girls go up and the girls are getting paid regardless so why bother to do a little bit of work for something extra? One time when we were there my husband made a comment to the bartender about how the one girl who was up there was plopped in front of the mirror texting. The bartender looked around and was basically like ‘oops’ and had to go get the girl and tell her there were customers she needed to dance for. Really?
If I were a manager there you bet I’d be yanking every girl up there for their set and chastising them for not taking their clothes off. Being on the clock is no excuse for sitting around looking in the mirror or chit chatting with your friends.
Maybe I’m in the minority with my thinking. Maybe guys who go there really don’t care but honestly if I wanted to see someone in a bikini I’d go to the beach.

I came just for fun with my boyfriend and a few guy friends, I didn’t really know what to expect but I had a lot of fun. The bartenders are all nice, they take pride in what they make and asked me if I liked my drink, and said they’d remake it if it wasn’t what I expected. I felt comfortable there being a girl and my friends had a good time too. I would definitely go back. It seemed like a nice, clean place and the drink prices were decent.

Why the hell am I reviewing a strip club?
I have a long-​term girlfriend, I’m very happy with her, and she gives me lap dances for free. And unlike the girls at ANY strip club, I can invite her to my bedroom, take her clothes off, and request her to touch my naughty parts, also for free…
Anyway, I was here as part of a particularly large bachelor party a few months ago, and the place was simply INSANE. This is Unilocal,so I suppose I’ll have to talk in riddles, but I’m sure you’ll be able to follow along:
— 5 dollar entry fee. About the cheapest I’ve ever seen.
— The girls are just freakin’ fantastic. Ripped right outta the Abercrombie catalog.
— A good «value» when you throw a few bucks on the bar, if ya know what I mean.
— You do get occasionally hounded for lap dances, but I found it to occur less often here than other gentlemen’s clubs I’ve been to.
— Drinks are relatively cheap, as they should be.
— We got a lap dance for the bachelor… $ 25… not bad at all.
People actually bring their real girlfriends here… That’s right, I noted several parties that night which included non-​employee women. A testament to how remarkably un-​slimy and unintimidating this place is…
…Well, as far as strip clubs go…

I don’t enjoy strip club atmospheres, but even I was impressed by the joie-​de-​vivre in the Mardi Gras!
The property and building are exceptionally clean and well-​manicured, with a beautiful wrought-​iron encircling the property, keeping out the riff-​raff. Thus, the crowd inside has been screened somewhat, and is generally more gentile than you’d expect to see.
I have been to strip clubs before, but the Mardi Gras is the most impressive of them all.

I’m not the strip club type of person, but Mardi GRAS was unbelievable. I went there on a friday night on my way to mount snow with a coupla buddies. The place is inviting and the dancers are not invasive and constantly bothering you for a dance. The drinks are ridiculously inexpensive compared to NYC standards. I ordered a belvedere on the rocks and our bartender came out with a cognac snifter filled hallway for a measly 8 bucks. When u initially walk in, there’s a regular bar with the sports game on. As you walk towards the back, the stage if littered with beautiful women and the bar littered with pervs. The stage actually wraps around the bar so if u wanna get a seat at the bar/​stage get there early. Most likely you will not be able to find a spot at the bar/​stage, but you can still see the show from the outer sports bar area. Next time any of you or your buddies go snowboarding or camping in Vermont, I highly recommend you stop by this place.

This is one classy place. The atmosphere is somewhat typical of a «gentleman’s club» but the décor shows a real touch of New Orleans and the music rocks. They keep great security and the dancers are fine ladies not the stereotypical trashy strippers we whisper about. The only thing that turns me off about the Mardi Gras is when I have to relieve myself after a couple of brews. While the security at the club makes it my club of choice, the attendant in the men’s room turns me equally off. You walk in, do your business, get a drop of soap pumped in your hand and almost shaken down for not tipping. If you see the heavy set guy tending the men’s room on the main floor, go upstairs. I like security in the men’s room especially in the last hour that it’s open but this one guy is enough to send me down the street as opposed to dealing with him. He’s insulting, rude and is the antithesis of all the staff that works there. Overall, Mardi Gras is great, except for the Santa Claus wanna-​be in the men’s room.

This place is open at noon everyday (even Sunday) and even in the early afternoon there are 2 – 3 dancers. Yes, the girls are easy to look at and yes, it is the best strip club in Western Mass/​Central CT (it’s worth the drive up from Hartford). The only drawback is during the day when bums come in off the street and hang around just looking and not buying a goddamn thing, other than that this is worth a stop if you want to have a beer in downtown Springfield

This place puts DC, MD and VA strip clubs to shame. The girls are all over you and you can sit right at the stage/​bar instead of having to walk up to the girls with a dollar in your hand like you do in DC. I went on a slow Sunday afternoon, and usually the dancers this time of day would be, uh, how do you say… ugly? Not here. Most of the girls we saw were smokin and they really got into it. I like seeing someone who enjoys their line of work.

This was my first time going to a strip club… Jake M. has it right on… the strippers were all-​in-​all pretty good looking, the drinks were strong and prety cheap, considering it’s a strip club– my gin and tonics were $ 7(?) apiece.
I was there for an electronic music event that was there for some reason; if i was in springfield again and felt like going to a strip club, I’d definetly check mardi gras out again.
