Debated about whether to give RDI2 stars. I’ll just write the review and let people take it for what it’s worth. First of all, trying to write a review for this business, I had to add it. At the same time, Unilocal asked me if I was thinking about one of these businesses? Rubert Diversified Investments Inc or RDI Office Center? Well, yes. Either one of those would be the same as the RDI Building, just under another name. But I couldn’t select either one because — supposedly — «Yelpers report this location has closed.» Nonsense. I just drove past there a few hours ago, and they sure look they’re still open to m. Aside from which, how do you just«close» an entire office building full of tenants? You don’t. Aside from which, their web site(at ) still boasts they’re open for business. It makes me wonder whether the owners might have falsely reported their business as closed to keep from getting negative reviews on Unilocal.Obviously I don’t know that’s the case, just wondering… Anyway, if you want to rent an office and are thinking of this place, I would certainly talk to existing tenants first and see if you can get an honest opinion. I haven’t rented from them, but my one business dealing with Pam Rubert, the landlord, was enough to put me off ever doing so. You can tell a lot about people from small things. If someone is rude to the waitress… well, that’s a sign of their character. The business deal I had with Pam Rubert was a small one. It wasn’t anything of any great, huge consequence. But it was a deal that we verbally agreed on. Except… when it came time to go through with it, she reneged. Why? Not because she was suddenly unable to go through with it. Not because she had suddenly realized it would be a costly deal for her. No, it wasn’t that kind of deal. It was financially insignificant. And not even because she had realized that following through was going to inconvenience her, either. As far as I can tell, she just didn’t feel like living up to her word. When faced with the opportunity to follow through on a small verbal agreement, and live up to her word, Pam decided she would prefer to just say«screw you»(figuratively speaking) to the person she had made a deal with, and break her word. Why? Just because she wanted to. No other reason. And that’s why I personally would never rent a pencil from these people.
