My husband and I wanted to try something different other than the typical firehouse subs and potbelly. I had the tandoori chicken sandwich while he had the BBQ. The food was delicious and I loved the bread used! The customer service was excellent and even the cashier asked if we wanted to customize our order! Will come again!

I always get the veggie sandwich and love it. Prefer this place over Subway or Potbelly since it’s a small business and is priced right.

Great salads at this place, great service, I was very pleased. The salad was crisp, cold, and the additions to the salad were great. Staff was friendly, indicate they do not allow tips. I want to go back and try the sandwiches.

Very clean restaurant. Food was good, portion size is rather small. Had the Italian, good simple fresh tasting sandwich. Portion size is rather small, so probably keep searching.

Springfield(at least the area Sandwich Rebublic is in) is a dry spot for good, quick takeout lunch options. Sandwich republic delivers in many ways. From the moment you enter, you are greeted by staff and the large menu is extensive but not overwhelming. If you have questions or want to customize a sandwich just speak with one of the staff members. I have had several sandwiches but my favorite is keeping it simple with turkey. I ventured out and tried the chicken tikka one once but was not very impressed with that one. The sandwiches are always very fresh and they are plenty big for lunch. They also have delicious cookies. My favorite is the chocolate chip Oreo. It’s kind of like a cookie within a cookie if you feel me. They must take chocolate chip cookie dough and crumble Oreos into the batter! The result is a sweetness explosion that is uhhh-ma-ZING! I can’t always pair my sandwiches cookies but when I do its with Sandich republic! Overall, this is a solid spot in Springfield for s casual dine in or takeout experience. The proprietors are local and really do make it a great experience.

Great service and delicious sandwiches at a bargain. We were greeted promptly and they waited patiently while we made our choices. As first time diners I saw numerous items on the menu that interested me. I went with the braised short rib sandwich and my wife chose the Italian. Both were great and the cookie was amazing. Highly recommended this place.

Jay, Nathan, and Sue are great. Always nice and helpful. Try the bbq chicken sandwich and the oreo cookie. I’ll miss visiting now that I know longer work in the area. But I’ll come visit. It’s worth the trip from Maryland or DC.

The place is very friendly and quick. The sandwich is alright. My mom order nunber 4, and you can change your sandwich however you want(which is a plus). My mom is not a picky eater so she likes it a lot. The bread is very unique and soft. My mom suggested that you can out it in the fridge and save it for later and it would not get soft. Plus the sandwich itself is eaten cold. I had a bite of my mom sandwich. It was alright, I usually prefer warm foods plus I am a really picky eater. The price is reasonable base on the size of the sandwich(my mom quote).(For me i prefer subway sandwich) My mom would come back too this place, for me I’m good.

The roast beef with harvarti and wasabi mayo is killer! Thoroughly enjoyed their take on sandwiches. Bread is great and it doesn’t have the atmosphere that large sandwich chains like Subway have. Can’t wait to visit again.

Is it just me or does the main picture for this place look like a weird burnt hamburger patty with a tiny bun that looks like its about to fall off? I know after looking at the description that is a Peanut Butter Cookie, but shouldnt a sandwich place have an actual sandwich as the main photo? I got a new job in the Springfield area and with that comes the joy of exploring new places to eat. While searching around, I found this place and read some good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. I had read one review of the Braised short rib being under seasoned but I ordered it anyway. Turns out that review was pretty on point. While the overall sandwich was good, it didn’t blow me… away(hahaha…im laughing at myself right now) like I expected it to. This place had enough interesting sandwiches where I would return out of curiosity. Hoping some of the other sandwiches are better than this last experience.

From their beginning I have enjoyed going there to p/up lunch/dinner or light catering. Their food is constant and aware what is going into the sandwich and they listen to their customers and can help you through making a choice. Some times you can find discounts on FB or.

Small place but nice and clean. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the tandoori chicken sandwich and it was satisfying. Inexpensive, my sandwich, chips, and drink were $ 10 but tasty. Seemed fresh and healthier than fast food. Not my favorite sandwich place but def wasn’t bad it was pretty good. I’ll be going back to try more things off the menu eventually.

I really enjoyed the Italian sandwich, and would definitely order it again. The braised short rib sandwich lacked some flavor, although the meat was well cooked. The owner was very nice and even offered us water cups without us asking. The interior was fairly nice as well.

The people who give this place 1 or 2 stars doesn’t know how food without additives taste like… I love that Sandwhich republic have decided to go 100% Natural. We eat so much stuff with additives and things we can’t even pronounce and more and more people get cancer etc. I was here yesterday with my fiancé and future mother-in-law. We wanted to try out this place as we have been trying to find a caterer for our wedding and it seems like we found it! The sandwhiches have really lovely flavors, the staff is nice and helpful and the place is nicely decorated. I’m definitely coming back and I’m looking forward having them cater our wedding.

My first time here. Was in the area on business and I let Unilocal pick my lunch. Yeaaa Unilocal!I ordered the #7 shrimp salad sandwich. It was kicked up with some Old Bay and that did the trick. It was served on the softest ciabatta roll I’ve ever had. This is a classic great sandwich like you’d find in a neighborhood deli. Sandwich Republic has nice décor that makes you feel welcomed. You can even sit outside if you’d like. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I also got a cookie and the next time I’m here I’ll try one of their bottled sodas.

Sandwich Republic is a nice alternative to the Subways, Quiznos, and Potbellys that dot Northern Virginia like a bad case of the chicken pox. I’ll be happy to bring my business back here in the future for more of the creations like I had today-the shrimp salad, featuring Old Bay, celery, and fresh ciabatta. Honestly, anything that has Old Bay on it is instantly improved. This sandwich was no exception. My only complaint had to do with a lack of flavor, and that’s odd considering how much flavor Old Bay usually brings out. Maybe season the bread differently? Overall though, its a tasty sandwich. I’d be happy to order it again. Love the interior of Sandwich Republic. Warm wood accents, high ceiling, and super clean. It’s hard to believe that this place has been open for well over a year now, it still looks brand new. I didn’t try any of the specialty sodas or cookies on offer-but I was SERIOUSLY tempted. Next trip, for sure. Another plus-these cookies appear at least to be 100% made in store. Very nice! Back to the specialty sodas-if you’ve ever been to a candy store, they have the same kinds of things here. Very specialty stuff. Leninande(thank God they didn’t name it Stalinade) and some bacon stuff were the two I noticed on the shelf, but they have more than that. A very nice touch. Check Sandwich Republic out. It’s a nice break from the usual spots, it’s unusually unique, and… most importantly… it’s really good.

Oh Sandwich Republic, where have you been all of my life? I will admit, ciabatta bread is not my favorite, in fact, it’s something I probably wouldn’t order on my own, but theirs is good. Backwards compliment of the day, right? I mean it though… It’s made in house and I think that makes the difference. Instead of being dense and chewy, it’s soft and pillowy, but still holds up to their ingredients well. So no soggy sandwiches here! Of the standouts that I have tried, we first have to discuss their Chicken Tandoori Sandwich. Wow. Just, wow. It’s spicy and complex, and the yogurt cilantro sauce accompanies it perfectly. It is, for sure, one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! Their Cuban is also pretty money; it’s not a staple to the menu though, but I sure am happy when I see it make a guest appearance on the specials board. Their shrimp salad sandwich is also very good, but if you don’t like Old Bay I would not recommend it, as they are not shy with seasoning here. Overall it’s a very small storefront, so if they are busy I would not anticipate dinning in. But if you are in the area and in the mood for a sandwich(except on Sundays when they are closed) I would recommend popping in to try something delicious. Springfield is lucky to have this little gem!

Decent sandwiches here. Tucked away in a shopping area in Springfield. I got the Tandoori Chicken Sandwich which was okay. I think the flavors and sauces were delicious but the actual chicken was OK. I wish the bread and the chicken were toasted or warmer. Overall the prices are reasonable at $ 7/sandwich and you get a free drink if you check in on Unilocal

Friendly service + fresh ingredients = deliciousness! Add in reasonable prices and you can’t go wrong! We had the bbq chicken and cole slaw sandwich and it was a total delight for our tastebuds! Highly recommended! They also had a nice selection of desserts that looked yummy — will try next time!

This place is a great lunch spot for those who live or are around the Springfield area. The shop is located in Springfield Plaza next to Noodles & Company and Toki Teriyaki. It reminds me of an exotic Potbelly, with different styles of sandwiches such as Tandoori Chicken, braised short rib, and etc., in addition to the classic sandwiches like BLT. They also have a good selection of vegetarian sandwiches as well as salads. Like Potbelly, you choose which toppings you would like. I ordered the #7, shrimp salad on ciabatta bread, which tasted delicious. The Old Bay seasoning added a nice kick to the sandwich! Any combo comes with drinks and chips. This will definitely be one of my lunch options in this area.
