I like this SportClips a lot. In fact, I’ve stopped going to other places to get my hair cut. I have curly hair and like to keep it pretty short. I’m not going to say I’m thrilled with all of the stylists– as with any place there are some good and some not as good. Valerie is completely awesome. She’s actually the only one I trust cutting my hair. From what I understand she’s moving to another location nearby (fortunately for me). She’s not currently at this location, though (unfortunately for me).
The negatives that I do have are that sometimes they have not opened on time and I’ve noticed some turnover in personnel. I do believe a lot of this has been corrected and improved since a new manager came in a few months ago.
The photo of the prices the one user posted is accurate. I don’t consider $ 23 for a haircut with a hot towel (SO relaxing), and a shampoo with scalp massage a terrible price at all. JMO

I would give this place ZERO stars if it was based off of the hairstylist’s. HANNA botched up my son’s hair and when I tried to stop her she told me to «let her do her job she knows what she is doing». Um, she did not and the fact that she argued with him and continued to cut his hair made me livid. I asked SUZI if I may speak to the store manager and she simply looked at me and then turned her back to me, completing ignoring my question. I had to go to the back room myself to look for her.
In the end the manager handled the situation well and managed to calm me down, even after Hanna approached me again to prove that she was right and I was wrong (by having my son’s hair in the palm of her hand and saying «see I didn’t cut a lot»). I wouldn’t even look at her and I asked the manager to please ask her to stop talking to me and leave me alone. The manager had to repeat herself TWICE before Hanna listened.
I give this place 3 stars because of the professionalism of the store manager. I want to say her name is Melissa? I apologize for forgetting at this moment. We are back to give them one more try and I pray it goes well.

I came here because I’m looking for a new place to get my haircuts. I normally stay away from large chain haircut places like this, but it was late in the evening and I needed a haircut for the next day at work.
This place is expensive to get a haircut. (look at the pic I posted). The lady was very nice and gave me a card for a free MVP haicut on my next visit because I am in search of a new place to come.
She even offered to give me a free face towel and massage on the visit. But I was in a hurry so I couldn’t stay.
Well I got the standard hair chopping like any other major chain place. I came in with a full head of hair and left like j just joined boot camp! I’m not really to concerned about it because I did want to go shorter, but on my own terms. And my hair grows fast so in 2 – 4 weeks it’ll be back to normal.
So even as nice as the lady was and all the free things she offered me I’m still not coming back.
I threw the free haircut coupon away.. .

I like this location so much it is very convenient. There is a best buy near by and a very good Italian restaurant across the street with a Star Bucks I haven’t visited. I went in and Nikki did an incredible job on my hair. I happened to get the MVP and let me say with the hot towel scalp massage I was purring like a cat.
I used to think Sports Clips was expensive when i lived in TX but after seeing other places «oh No». I love this location and will always come here. In fact I am amazed at how they know what my last hair cut was and who did it at the location. This si convenient since I can confuse myself with my hair style.

I used to go to other hair cut places, until I found the coupon on my Giant receipt. Wanting to put it to use, I went in and was pleased with my $ 10 haircut. It was cheap, solid– to be frank I don’t tend to ask for much in my haircuts, just some help covering up a high hairline. The second time I went I had the coupon again and I had an even better experience. Really nice haircut– they had the specs of the last one saved. More importantly, they advised me on which type of Nioxin I should use to thicken up my hair. Apparently, I had been using the wrong type purchased at a competitor store.
In addition to doing a good job for cheap, they were very friendly. She even gave me coupons for friends to get free haircuts– if my friends use them, I get an upgrade to MVP cut. Good deals shower in from all over.
Quick comment on atmosphere– I love it. It’s a great place for a guy to get a simple hair cut. I’ve been to other places where it seems they cut men’s hair, but it’s not their main thing. This place has ESPN playing in the first room on a big screen TV and has bleacher-​style seats to add to the atmosphere (slightly more comfortable than real bleachers).
Not planning to get my haircut anywhere else for a while.

I’m not too picky. The hair cut was nothing special and hair (ha) on the pricey side. They offer lots of coupons and offers, but I’d prefer just a slightly lower price to avoid the hassle of coupons. One thing I did like in particular regarding the MVP haircut was that they actually wash your hair and style it AFTER the haircut. This avoids the need to go home and wash out the itchy bits of hair immediately after the haircut which is especially nice if you’re planning to go out afterwards. The staff was friendly and not unnecessarily talkative (like at Hair Cuttery). TVs on ESPN was also a plus.

Went to Sports Cuts to get my beard cleaned up a bit. After 10 minutes, 2 months worth of beard was gone and all I had left was a horrible stubble that I could have done myself at home. The guy butchering my beard gets his manager who asks me how they can fix it. Only thing left to do was have it all off. I’ll never visit another Sports Clips and promptly through away the free haircut voucher they gave me. I couldn’t be more pissed off if I tried.

I’ve been to a few sportsclips and mostly a decent experience. They offer lots of promotions and coupons which help lower heir slightly more than hair cuttery cost. My recommendation is to avoid the MVP unless you have a coupon because the shower and massage are not really necessary. In face they sometimes delay them getting to the next customer. This location had some great friendly stylists so I bumped it up a star over the other ones. Alexis was mine I believe.
