Taco Bell

The first time I went to this location I ordered a steak quesarito, quesadilla sauce instead of the default and a large pepsi, like I have almost every time since it came out.
The service was acceptably quick and friendly but I realized once I got home that I had received beef instead of steak. As I couldn’t check the receipt to make sure that they heard me correctly (I could have accidentally «Ok’d» the incorrect order) I decided to give them another shot later that week.
This time I ordered two quesaritos, the same way as before, one for me and one for my fiancée. This time I double checked the order on the screen before I proceeded and the employee read me back my order before I pulled forward.
This time there was a bit of a wait, it was maybe 10pm so I expect they had to cook us something fresh. Not a problem. We get home and realize once we start eating that there is maybe two pieces of steak per quesarito. It was over 99% rice and sauce.
Not just one of them but both of them were like that. I could not believe it. I was already home and undressed and didn’t want to drive back across town so we ate them but I have not been back since and don’t plan on it. Why the wait if they weren’t going to include the main ingredient and if they were out of steak why not inform me while I was ordering?
I now go to the Taco Bell on National. Not only is it closer, It’s open 24 hours and the staff is quick and friendly (used to dealing with drunk college students clearly hasn’t jaded them yet.)

This is the new quesarito. Doesn’t look much like the Taco Bell commercial. I think they messed up my order because this just looks like a cheesy beef burrito. I am very disappointed .
The crunch wrap supreme looks more like presented in advertising. Wish it was cheesier.
Service was quick and friendly.

Ok, so this is really just about one thing, Taquitos! this new tasty treat, where not complicated to make by any stretch of the imagination, is just awesome. Grilled chicken, Cheese, wrapped in a tortilla, simple, two for a buck ninety nine. Oh ya, and your choice of 3 dipping sauces, awesome. only complaint is they need to be about twice the size they are.
