After living in Mexico for several years, I’ve become a bit more picky about where I go for good Mexican food. Chavo’s is one of the best Tex-​Mex restaurants I’ve encountered in a while. Although I live in Dallas and have lots of choices, I do go to Chavo’s when visiting family in south Arkansas. It is definitely worth the 30 – 40 minute drive. The food is fresh, and the staff has made changes to a couple of dishes at my request. Including Dallas restaurants, definitely in my top 10 Mexican restaurants!
