I loved every moment at McDougals. I went there late last fall and even though a lot of the apples in the front were picked there were still a lot of crunchy cortlands and sweet mcintosh hanging out in the back section. When you come here do yourself a favor and wait till the donut shop is open and help yourself to a disgusting amount of those fresh cider donuts. We went just a little after they closed and got a bag of the mini ones and I was in a sweet, doughy, cinnamon sugar dusted heaven. Grab some cold cider to wash it all down with and then let the sugar carry you through the apple picking fields. Everyone was really nice when we were checking out and they don’t mind if you eat an apple or two while you walk around. I loved the friendly vibe and groups of families and couples strolling through. I have to go back next fall!
