Amazing! On our way to the mountains with our horses and had a blow out on the horse trailer about 3 miles from their shop. Of course the spare was flat… Limped it in. In some kind of record time I’m sure, we had a new tire on the trailer and a new spare! Didn’t even need to unload the horses!!! Super fast, freindly and affordable. Thank You Bear Mountain Auto!

Easy to get in, good quality and reasonable cost servicing. If you call or come in before 9am and need parts, then they can usually get them same day. I have been here several times now for oil changes and routine servicing of my Toyota Tundra truck and Acura car. I have also needed parts that were not in stock and was able to get parts the same day when ordered before 9am. Thanks and keep up the good work. Scott

Our 1996 Ford Taurus wagon started thunking on the way from Grizzly Falls to Grant Grove. We were halfway into a two week camping trip. AAA couldn’t find us… their solution was to give us the phone number of a tow company who wanted $ 800.00 to tow us to Fresno. Francisco at the Grant Grove Lodge recommended Bear Mountain, so we crossed our fingers and drove the wagon downhill out of the park straight there.
We described what we hoped was a transmission in need of a little fluid or flushing. After a little while they met us in the waiting area with a pan full of metal chunks. Our transmission was pretty much eating itself. Seeing as we were hundreds of miles from home, our only transportation in their hands, we had pretty slim choices. Instead of gouging us, they told us honestly that our best bet was to run it until it stops rather than put more money in to it. They did as much car magic as they could, and sure enough, it got us to where we needed to go! And they charged us less than $ 150! We are SO thankful to have found them.
Anyone stranded within 50 miles of these guys will be well served to take their business there. Thanks guys!!!

Bottom line: fast, efficient, open, and cheap
We had flat tire while at family camp during memorial day weekend.
After putting on the temporary we stopped there on memorial day to get the tire fixed. I was a little leery when we didn’t have to sign anything but when we asked how much they said $ 15. After enjoying pizza next door we came back to our car with it fixed and on our car. They apologized for not putting the spare away but we had way too much stuff in the way. We paid them $ 15 and were on our way.
