While traveling between Canada and VT we decided to stop in at this Chinese buffet for lunch. This was the first time visiting/dining in the area, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. After having lunch here, we thoroughly loved the experience and encourage everyone to eat here instead of the other Chinese buffet in town. The difference between the two were the fact that the food quality here is better, the restaurant is clean, the service is great and the bathrooms weren’t disgusting. Also, the prices were amazing and we couldn’t have spent less for lunch if we tried!

Not bad for the price… its a little greasy but thats the only flaw I can see that might make another chinese buffet better than this. The lunch price is a great value, I think its $ 6.25 for all you can eat. if you go to McDonalds that will buy you a single big mac meal. So at least with this buffet you get lots of choices, huge variety. The variety here is much better than the small buffet near the old JC Penneys. I’ve been here about 10 times and never had a bad meal. One bad thing, they dont seem to have their own website, to me every business should have a website. at the very least a facebook account.

Best Chinese buffet Ive ever had in VT. Hot food that tasted good and wasn’t chewy like other buffets. Employees working hard putting out fresh food and refilling drinks. I live in Burlington and will make the drive to Lucky Buffet in St Albans

Good selection, one of the best Chinese buffets I’ve been to in vermont so far. Food is hot, fairly fresh and has yet to disappoint me. One time I went there with a upset stomach already and I’ll tell you, chinese + feeling sick doesn’t mix!

Jimmy’s. That’s what I call it. It’s not the lucky Buffet, its the Buffit… and thus I’ll call it Jimmy’s. Why? Cause I freaking said so, ok? Yeah, we used to go to the St Albans Cafeteria up near Rite Aid… and it was ok. Actually, i kind of miss their mediocrity. I dunno, Jimmy’s has a lot of options, like, an ass load… but I never seem entirely satisfied. Also, if you’re sensitive to temperature and smell you might want to go on an off peak hour. The AC in there is ok, but it doesn’t really make a huge dent. Combine that with a billion of St Albans finest packed in like cattle and you get the sweet combination of heat and stank. Just being honest. That aside, its not bad. If you’re up for all you can eat chicken fingers, pizza and pineapple, then Jimmy’s is gonna be like a jackpot for you.
