I’m usually a big fan of Panera/St Louis Bread Co. First, couldn’t find it, the sign says St Louis Bread Co, but gps says Panera. Second, the kids pb&j has a half a jar of jelly on it. There is no way to eat that sandwich, kid or adult, with out making a huge mess. I scraped off three tablespoons of jelly and peanut butter and there was still enough on it to make a decent sandwich. My salad was meh at best. Mostly because they charged me for extra fruit when I said to give me something else when I was told they were out of oranges for my salad. Really? You are out of one fruit, so you charge me to add extra of another? That’s poor. I asked for my dressing on the side and was disappointed, it looks like someone already used that container of dressing, because it was half empty. The sandwich was gross, the turkey looked undercooked and the bacon was not crisp. Not impressed this trip.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Food here is always great. People are always crazy friendly, and it’s ovious they are not being told to act a certain way, they really seem to actually like their jobs. I seriously come here all the time, many of the employees know my name. I have probably been at least 200 times and my order has only been slightly wrong once. Besides the awesome service I try to eat healthy and they have a Lot of very healthy options. Some of my favorites are the mederanian egg white sandwich, the veggie pesto soup and the Greek quinoa salad.

Power almond quinoa breakfast bowl was delicious. There is an express pick up shelf where you can call ahead and your order will be waiting for you. Nice timesaver. Great for a quick breakfast.

Overpriced & Overrated. Do yourself a favor and just go the the deli counter at any grocery store and pickup some that lunch meat. Then go to the bakery department and get some of that bread. Want soup? No problem. Go to the salad bar for hot soup, or the soup isle for the soup you can heat up later. Do this and save yourself about $ 42 and have no stomach pain with diarrhea. You’re welcome.

I love the Resturant — always great food and ALMOST always great service. BUT… I am very disappointed with the order service we received lately. A lady in her 60’s wanted to argue about anything I ask her. I was just asking a specie question and she was telling me why I was wrong. Thins lady is the WRONGPERSON to have at the counter. She should be kept out of sight doing something else with NO interaction to customers At one point I told her I was going to quit talking because I felt like I was either an idiot or I was doing something wrong. I really think she was just looking for a fight… I’m 60+ too. But I think I could of took her. :) Just to summarize, she was rude, extremely uncooperative and talks over the customer in a condescending manner. This is not what I expect from a Resturant where I am simply trying to place my order. It was a very very bad experience. I sadly lost my receipt before I was able to do the survey and I do not remember her name. Even with this experience, I will go back to Panera again — but if she is there, I will not place my order, but instead I will ask for a manager and have them take my order.

What a disappointment. The wife wanted Breadco Wild rice and chicken soup. No sweat, I’ll see if I can get a togo order on-line. Yep! Signed up and started order. No Wild rice chicken soup. No biggie, I’ll order myself a french onion bowl and Caesar salad. She decided on Chicken tortellini alfredo. Arrived at the store in about 12 minutes. Huge line. Looking around, lots of hipsters and cool people using Wi-Fi. Waited for a few minutes and decided to look at the other end of the store. I finally saw a pick-up counter. Hooray! Walked over and was ignored by no less than 3 employees. Turned another corner and found a shelf with pick-up orders. Fantastic! Some signage would be a good idea here. Picked up my bag and walked out. No hi, goodbye, or kiss my ass. Ok, no sweat. Get home, the french baguette that was supposed to be in my order, wasn’t. Chicken Caesar salad was dry, croutons soggy. French onion soup was bitter, like the onions had burned. Pasta had no sauce and had an odd aftertaste of fish. All in all a really unpleasant experience. I know they have good bagels, so maybe that’s all I“ll go there for from now on.

I love Panera and frequent the chain; this store, however, is overcrowded and has a surly staff. I will continue to go to the Bread Company, but I will definitely pass on going to this one.

I ordered the French soup in a bread bowl but when I got my receipt it showed the slightly cheaper version of the soup served in a regular bowl. When I asked the lady about it her eyes were throwing daggers as her lips narrowed and she shook her head back and forth. For a second I thought she was going to refuse to change it. She had to go get the manager to do something on her cash register. He told me at least 3 times that it’s 10 cents cheaper to get it in the regular bowl. Then when I picked it up I got dirty looks from all 15 people that were standing on the other side of the counter doing nothing. The soup was lukewarm, no croutons and the cheese wasn’t even melted on top. I was too afraid of incurring further wrath by saying anything about their crappy $ 5 French soup. Needless to say, I definitely won’t be going back there.

Sadly, disappointed by one of our favorites! They were out of all flatbreads. When I received my sandwich: it was thrown on to the plate; the bread wasn’t even put together. The lemon orzo soup: the lemon seeds were still in the lemon slices: no one wants to bite into a lemon seed when they are eating soup. Panera is a great company, and we visit it all over the country. It needs to have consistent excellence in all their restaurants. This was far below the standard that we are used to. Only 30 minutes of free wifi available.

My family and I came here for a rare treat(eating out). We were greeted by Victoria. She was the most unpleasant human being I’ve come across in a while. She was rude, unhelpful, and when asked to please speak up(i’m hard of hearing) spoke softer. She wasn’t alone here. With the exception of a few people, the employees here wandered around like zombies out of a walking dead episode. The vibe and unfriendliness really rubbed off on our experience. Won’t go back. Also– 45 dollars. Yes. 45 dollars for 2 kids and 2 adults for some soup and small sandwiches. Terrible value.

I’m sitting here right now eating the tomato soup. ITISDELICIOUS. The environment is nice also– good place to study. Customer service was good. I have also seen one employee cleaning the whole time. Although I feel bad for her I’m also happy to know this location is clean!

Visited this location for my first time on a Saturday, for lunch. Crazy busy, but otherwise akin to most other St Louis Bread Co /Panera Bread Co restaurants. Dining room has a more open floor plan than many. Felt bigger than many other locations, too.

This location always has quick and friendly service. For a light breakfast, my favorite things are the Cinnamon Crunch Bagel with Hazelnut cream cheese and Hazelnut coffee. My son(3 years old) loves the Chocolate Chip Muffie… he thinks he’s getting a cookie for breakfast.

This place rarely lets me down. I usually come here on weekends as it is the closest Bread Co to my house. I love their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on ciabatta. Their seasonal items are good too like the poppyseed strawberry salad in the summertime(with avocado!) and the turkey cranberry sandwich in the fall(I prefer mine cold, not heated in the panini press as it wilts the spinach.) Their bread is always fresh and amazing. I like that they have salted butter to put on the bread. Also their desserts are usually good, esp the cookies, and I am a cookie snob as I am an avid baker as well. Even their espresso drinks rock my socks. They are just as good if not better than starbucks. I got a pumpkin spice latte the other day for free because I used their rewards card thingy. You should sign up for one because it costs literally $ 0 to get one, and the more you go there and use the card, the more rewards you earn. I think you get a free pastry just for signing up. This Panera is usually clean and the employees are fairly nice. I will be honest though, their attitudes can be hit or miss but lately I’ve encountered mostly nice ones.

There are some days I just need my food to be predictable. At the St. Louis Bread Company I get that every time. I love the broccoli cheddar soup and I get it almost every time I visit. The soups are all good, I have never had a soup here that I didn’t like. Now, that being said I am sure they are terrible for you, but I don’t eat soup everyday. Soup makes the soul calm. I also like the salads here. All very yummy. Man the sandwiches are good too. I get the chipotle mayo on every sandwich I order. Seriously how do you not like spicy mayo? You can order a «You Pick Two» where you can choose two options of a salad, a sandwich and/or a soup. Awesome! The breakfast sandwiches do not need spicy and are awesome. My boyfriend really likes the baked egg soufflé… a lot. Add a coffee and you are set! There are also frozen coffee drinks and smoothies to choose from. Pastry heaven! Lots of choices my friends. Bagels, cakes, cookies and muffins! All of these with a coffee and free wifi how can you go wrong? It’s local and some days it hits the spot.
