the manager reached out. aologized for the inconvenience and compd my entrée(brick chicken) due to the saltiness and said he would use it as a reaching lesson to staff and chef/cooks. Great response from management. I would be willing to give it another try

Food is usually good. The hummus is nice with pita bread. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is the service sucks sometimes. We were provided with appetizers and the server vanished for 40 minutes.

The service was spectacular! I never went without a drink or some there to answer any question I had. The ribeye was tender and so full of flavor that the bed of greens underneath were as amazing tasting as the beef. My wife’s lobster ravioli’s were knock your socks off good. We even brought our six kids and everyone was so kind. Thanks!!!

I love that this place has an emphasis on locally sourced food and drink(I even had a local liquor in my cocktail!). I’ve only been here twice, but all the food I’ve had has been delicious. It’s a nice place for a date night or girls’ night. I definitely recommend taking a look at the menu before you go, I know some people who can’t seem to find something that’s in their taste here(those folks kind of have blander palettes, but if that’s you then look before you go). I’ve not had a problem finding something I’ve enjoyed either time I’ve been here.

Not sure why this place has such good reviews. The atmosphere is however certainly a 5. I got the filet and it was just not good. Very little flavor and was chewy and barely even warm in temperature. My coworker got the salmon and did like it. I felt the menu was very limited. This is probably a fun place for drinks and apps but I think there are better dinners to be had in the area

I had a business meeting as the first time visit. The service was excellent. The food I have to admit was the best meal I have had in a long time. Ahi tar tar? And skewers as apps. The Ahi phenomenal. We had the chicken, scallops and walleye specoal. Each dish was as delicious as the other. A must go!

Brought my wife here for her birthday dinner celebration. It was recommended by a friend as she has food allergies. The waiter was excellent and he, as well as the manager, worked closely with the chef to ensure her meal was both gluten & dairy free. We started out with crispy shrimp that was fried in rice flour and served with bleu cheese mousse and buffalo vinaigrette sauces. Excellent starter. For our meal we ordered a ribeye with new potatoes and a cabbage wedge. They fixed the potatoes in olive oil so they were dairy free and the cabbage wedge has some type of sauce that was tasty. It was a very good meal, with a nice atmosphere. What was as impressive was the fact the waiter AND manager paid close attention to the meal prep and checked back to see if we enjoyed the meal.

I come here fairly often, maybe a total of 5 visits in the past year or so. I’ve tried all of their sushi rolls. They are generally pretty good. All of their appetizers are delicious. I highly recommend the Lobster Avacado and grilled lamb. For entrée, I recommend caramelized jumbo scallops and lobster roll(sushi, not the sandwich). Those are my favorites. They also have a nice selection of cocktail drinks. The white sangria is fruity and delicious, it’s better than the red sangria in my opinion. Overall, the ambience is very trendy and the service staff are all very friendly. I will definitely go back again!

This is a really nice trendy and moderately upscale restaurant and bar with very good food. They have an area for people to self seat that is first come first serve with a fair amount of TVs. They also have an area for reservations and normal waiting in a larger dining area. The food was very good but a little pricy for the amount of food you get. My overall experience was very good and it would get five stars if the portions were even slightly larger. I highly recommend their poem steak or Prasino Burger.

This is a restaurant that prides themselves on fresh, tasty food. I’ve been here six times or so, dining in and just catching a drink, and it’s always been top notch service. The tacos, burger, ½ bricked chicken, and scallops, and crispy shrimp are all fantastic choices. They also have a good selection of beer from local breweries to give you plenty to choose from. I’d recommend Prasino mostly for date nights or going out with work friends. It can be towards the higher-end price-wise, but has cheap options if you’re looking for more of a typical bar experience.

A few friends and I went to Prasino on a Tuesday night for dinner. I ordered the lobster roll with baked potatoes. Friends ordered the sushi and chicken Taco Taco. We were happy with our meal. Good food, good service and great company — not much expectations for a Tuesday night.

My first experience at Prasino… Keep in mind that Prasino is all about green, eco friendly, farm to table etc etc. So, the very first time I went to Prasino I asked for some bleu cheese or Italian dressing for my flatbread.(I’m not a critic or chef or foodie; I don’t care about«compromising the dish». I like dipping sauce for my pizza.) The waiter totally threw me off when he said«I don’t think we have that here but I’ll see what I can do».(What?!) Fifteen minutes later I was getting kind of frustrated because I’ve worked in restaurants and it doesn’t take long to put some dressing in a dish. Finally the waiter comes back and drops off a ramekin saying«we don’t have italian but the chef threw some things together that he says are similar but even better than standard italian».(I’m sorry. Again… what?!) They MADEME some italian. I tell this story because I think it sums up the restaurant very well. It shows that yes, they are extremely accommodating –even when it’s not necessary(I would have been totally fine without the dressing). But also, this is a restaurant that doesn’t have italian dressing readily available. Consider what that means. So, while it doesn’t bother me one bit, it’s something to think about. That said, I’ve been to Prasino many times since then for everything from happy hour and dinner dates to baby showers and bachelorette parties. I have never had a bad experience. The service is always great and the atmosphere seems perfect for any occasion.

Great ambiance and lighting. Perfect for everything from lunch with a friend to special occasion celebrations and even date night with your Lovey. I ordered the lamb sirloin on a baguette but unfortunately, I was so full from my roasted pear, gruyère, with sweet potato hay salad, and truffle butter potatoes that I couldn’t eat one bite of it. I took it to-go and it was still tasty the next day though I’m certain it would have been better the night before. The sweet potato hay salad was way better than I had expected. The thought of eating«hay» was so unappealing that I was thoroughly delighted to actually taste how delicious it was. Definitely a must-try. What I love the most about Prasino, however, is the quality antibiotic– and hormone-free meats, and organic produce. They have an eco-friendly focus and strive to buy local whenever possible. Kudos, Prasino!

I have been to here numerous times and keep coming back for more… First of all the service is amazing each time but tonight our service was expectational. Went in for a friends 30th with the girls and the staff wished the birthday girl, the manager even came by and observed the wine we were enjoying and picked a birthday dessert to compliment it. Only downside was we were under the impression the dessert was complimentary in the way it was presented but were charged. No biggie but should be clearer. We were in between wines and asked the waiter-he was not a wine expert and sent someone else over who recommended a wine which we loved! Food– I’m a sucker for the lamb burger and truffle fries which I constantly get on 80% of my visit. The burger is great but best fries ever. Today I opted it for the lobster ravioli. It was delicious. Didn’t taste to fishy and had the right flavor. The lobster taste nor the sauce were over powering. They balanced each other out. My two other friends got the pork steak special which was amazing– it was recommended by our waiter. I had a bite of it and was almost regretting my choice. It came with season smashed sweet potatoes and kale. This visit just made me wanting to come back to try out more dishes.

Strawberry or Pomegranate mimosas are spot on. I love their Austin Texas eggs. And Berry-licious cakes. This place is such a great location too, right off the highway. I’ve never had a wait for brunch. Tons of free parking.

Great, spacious upscale restaurant with ample TV screens(it was football season, c’mon!) and plenty of parking. I was impressed with the vegetarian-friendly choices throughout the menu and the emphasis on organic, all-natural ingredients. They also have an expansive cocktail/beer menu. Bourbon Smash — a twist on the good ol’ Moscow Mule Prasino Green Salad — huge portion, tasty, and surprisingly filling Pappardelle — delicious, lots of flavor, and we loved the chorizo seitan Since it was my husband’s birthday, they brought us their dessert of the day, on the house, which was some take on a blueberry muffin. Super sweet, and good — but probably wouldn’t have ordered it ourselves.

3.5 stars. Prasino is a fantastic, large space with ample parking, and LOTS of business. Everybody raves about this restaurant, and I can see why. It has a large bar, a good drink list, and options for everybody. The food itself is good, but not mind-blowing. I’ve tried the prasino salad and the steak sandwich. Portions are large. You should consider sharing… or not. If I lived closer to this area, I would probably return.

I have been here twice — both times were fantastic. The first time I came in for lunch with a friend. I believe I got a lobster roll and I know it was delicious. This time I went with a group of 7 for breakfast. The breakfast menu was surprisingly large with many options. We started with coffee drinks — I got the mocha which I inhaled. For breakfast I got the hippy omelette(v) spinach, basil, goat cheese and tomato jam. I was nervous about the tomato jam because I don’t generally enjoy the taste of tomato — but this was delicious. I also got the sweet potato hash — which was good but not great. For the table we got an order of the pretzel, Carmel great toast. The pretzel croissant had a wonderful texture. We also got the banana bread French toast which was delectable. I loved the idea and the execution was wonderful. They do have a kids menu and the prices for those plates are very reasonable($ 4 – 6). My kids usually never eat all their food but they did this time. They got the pancakes and a side of fruit. The rest of my party got a variety of dishes. My husband got the eggs Benedict which he said were so good he didn’t share. Everyone agreed it was a wonderful place. All the plates were practically licked clean. The only knock I have is that it seemed to take awhile to get 4 coffee drinks to the table but I will give them the benefit of the doubt since 2 of those coffee drinks deviated from the menu and we did have quite a few people in our party. Overall, wonderful experience and food — I will be back!

Prasino is located in St Charles on the end of a concept development. This small restaurant features a well stocked wine and craft beer selection and is beautifully designed using post-industrial modern and loft elements with high-end furnishings and finishes. The lighting over the expansive fully stocked bar is spectacular, sporting over-sized globes that harken old-fashioned exposed, hanging bulbs. Having just hit St Louis on business my team did a quick search for a great lunch spot on Unilocal and boy did it deliver. Prasino well deserves the solid 4 stars awarded, based on our overall experience, the food and the great service. We arrived shortly before the dinner crowd and were seated immediately. We were then pointed to the Happy Hour specials and were happily tempted to order one of the great $ 4 draft selections, for food we mostly selected items off the regular menu. Wanting to sample the local craft, I had a very nice 4 Hands Resurrection IPA. It had great body, hoppy snap and great hints of citrus. Turkey Burger with Seasonal Veggies — we subbed ground turkey for the special Prasino Burger — smoked gouda, tomato jam, pickled onion, arugula and whole wheat. This came with a great side of roasted veggies made up of brussel sprouts and squash. Turkey Burger with Truffled Potatoes — The other Prasino Burger came with truffled potatoes — the sauce was delicious. Portabello Burger with Sea Salt Chips — little did my vegetarian partner know how close this portabello burger came to tasking like meat. I could eat this all day. Between the bartender and the waiter, service was well above average and as a bonus, while clearing the table the waiter knocked over my water glass so my meal was comped. Prasino has class and knows how to treat its customers. – John (also posted in much longer form on my food blog)
