I have to say, I absolutely love QT! Their fountain sodas are, bar none, the best! Fountain soda from QT just tastes cleaner. I completely agree with their claims about 100% filtered water for the sodas and ice. I also love that you can add either vanilla or cherry syrup to your soda, although I am a fan of the vanilla more than the cherry. Mobil on the Run«has» syrups to add to your sodas — they«have» lime and lemon in addition to vanilla and cherry — but I use quotes as they never have any syrups available! But I digress… I am also addicted to the QT Kitchens! A little pricy for simple, comfort foods, but well-worth it. QT Kitchens also offers consistent taste and product every time… something which can be hit-or-miss for fast food restaurants. Service is quick, too… which is an added bonus when I’m stopping in on my lunch break. Employees are friendly, too! I also like the automated ordering screen as you ensure that you’re getting exactly what you want. So, if I love QT(and I really do!!), why am I giving them only four stars? For the checkout. No, not speed. employees ring up your purchase quickly. That’s probably not always a good thing… they sometimes ring up items incorrectly. You can sometimes pay different amounts for the exact same items at the same location. This happened to me just today at this particular QT. I was charged 89 cents for a 32-oz Styrofoam soda… when I brought my own cup to refill. I do this at least 80% of the time as I am big into recycling. I normally tell the clerk that«it’s a refill» — something I didn’t do today, figuring that a cup that says SMOOTHIEKING is very clearly a refill. Granted, it was only a dime difference, but a dime here and there adds up! I will always tell the clerk when it’s a refill from now on. I just wish the employees could be a little more careful and accurate when it comes to ringing up purchases. Stop by QT… it’s well worth it… and ADDICTING! Know your prices and you hopefully won’t pay more… leaving you money to return time and time again!
