Pro 1 Nails

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! The worst experience I’ve ever had in a nail salon. Went in after going to Planet Fitness to work out. Figured it would be great to find convenient salon. Boy was I shocked out of that thought. I wanted pink & white acrylic set. Had acrylic that was old and stained so it needed to be removed. The Asian woman started working on removing the old nails. She buffed off much of the gel color and acrylic then cut my nails down. I had a little pain when she used the drill to buff down the nails but didn’t complain. Then she tried to cut off the acrylic with nippers and she hurt me twice and I responded, «Ouch!» Then a bit more emphatic, «OUCH!» the second time. She threw her nippers down and said, «You are too rude! I will not finish! You get out!» I responded, «Are you kidding? You can’t leave my nails like this!» My nails were scraggly, partially removed color and acrylic. I couldn’t believe it!!! Beware to anyone who tries this horrible salon.

Everything was crazy expensive for the type of service we received. There were 4 people for only 2 employees and the female owner (I think) was rude right off the bat. She basically stabbed me over and over with the cuticle remover and then told me I needed to stop being so emotional. She also painted all over my fingers for some reason… as if she had never done a manicure before? The filing was uneven. And she took less than 5 minutes on each of our manicures… For 15 bucks. The guy was super nice and good though! Bomb massage and even asked me how was my day.
Stay away from this place!

This place sucks. The owner is a rude rude lady. She called my friend and I picky old ladies for asking prices. I will be calling state Board on her Monday. Worse waste of money ever. We got a 12 min pedi. This place should be shut down. The man working isn’t even licensed. we got trimmed up bloody cuticles. Our feet hurt so bad. Do not go to this place!

I read all of the reviews and was nervous about coming. However, we walked in and they greeted us nicely. It was just the two of them and I could’ve gone for a little longer massage, but they did a good job overall. I’m from SLC and I thought there prices were a bit higher, especially for gel nails (additional $ 25) so the full pedi would’ve been $ 50.
Salon was clean, chairs comfortable, they do go a bit fast, but nothing different then any other nail salon. Paint job was just ok. I have it three stars because it wasn’t outstanding, but I certainly don’t think the one stars were fair.

Worst pedicure I have ever had! I felt rushed. Left polish on foot and didn’t clean it off. Didn’t put top coat on when I asked my lady, she was very rude. She said not to tell her how to do her job. The man who worked there was friendly. The entire pedicure lasted 20 minutes and was rough. I would recommend somewhere else in st George. No good! My entire party agreed.

Friendly… But my French acrylic gel nails… $ 42. She was in a rush because 2 other ladies were waiting to get pedi. Won’t be going back especially for that price n mediocre service. Smh

If I could give zero stars I would! We called to make an appointment and she said she could take us no appointment necessary. When we arrived we were asked to wait 45 minutes!!! We asked if we could leave and come back if she would hold our spot and she said yes. When we got back she asked us to pick our colors and sit. We did and waited for about 10 minutes, no one came to start us but it wasn’t much of a problem just yet. About another 5 minutes later some ladies walked in for mani pedi and they picked their colors and started them right away. This was very frustrating since we had been waiting. We waited another 5 – 10 minutes and they said nothing to is so we just walked up and left! Very irritating and rude people who work here. I felt like a burden rather than a customer they want to pamper!

They nickel and dime you to death and do a mediocre job! They charged extra for using debit card, etc. Wont be going back.

I have been coming to Pro 1 Nails for about 7 years and have never been happier with my nails. Wanda & Tom are very friendly and skilled in their trade. They are also fast and I am able to get my nails done on my lunch break but they never sacrifice speed for quality. I break a nail maybe once every few months if I wait too long between fills. I will not go anywhere else as I have tried many other nail salons in Southern Utah only to have full sets fall off within days or a week. I will continue to come to Pro 1 and continually recommend them to friends, family, even a
stranger who compliments on my nails.

This place is terrible. Went here for shellac nails for a wedding. They fell off within hours. Not only were the nails terrible, the staff was unhelpful and rushed the entire wedding party of 7 people out. Rude!
