Was in St George on business and needed a place for a huge hunk of meat and a drink. Bear in mind that this is Utah… The martini was as good as it gets. I ordered the Buffalo ribeye and it was extraordinary. My server could not have been better. Overall it was a great place. The prices are not any more than the cost of a chain restaurant. Would do my next time in town.

We had steak and au gratin potatoes. Also lobster bisque to start. Steak was melt in your mouth. Kids meals were Kraft Mac and cheese, not so impressed with that I like my kids to eat just as nice as the grown ups. I would eat here again but not waste money on kids meals they will just share with us next time.

Tried this place a few weeks back with some of our friends in the area. None of us had been there before. Everyone seemed to enjoy their entrees, that included their Pork Chop(huge piece, brought sizzling to the table), Jambalaya(very tasty and a huge portion) rack of ribs(tender and tasty) and a salad topped with blackened Cajun shrimp(again, huge portion, but very fresh and flavorful). Tried their fried green tomatoes appetizer… very tasty, but quite rich. Lump crab meat on top of a creamy sauce covering the fried tomatoes underneath. Service was prompt and friendly. The open dining room doesn’t bother me, or the writing of the servers name with crayon upside down… whatever…these things are quite inconsequential to the overall experience of the meal. Thought it was interesting that a Montana chop house had so many southern inspired dishes. Not sure what the correlation is there, but despite the fact l was the only vegetarian/pescetarian of our party, l felt I had plenty of choices, and my companions all enjoyed their meals.

By far the best root beer float ever! Recommend the place to anyone that lives ribs! Pricing is reasonable for the quality of the food.

The Chicken Fried Chicken was very good! Others in the group had the Salmon and it looked delicious. Fast friendly service. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

We ate here for our last civilized meal before a few days of camping in Zion. All four adults loved their meal. Food was really good. Chicken fried steak was great and reasonably priced the other three all had one of the specials which included some sort of fish. I thought the specials were expensive but they all assured me it was worth the price. I had to deduct a star though because the kids meals were not up to par. $ 6 for a small portion Kraft Mac and Cheese?

Ate here 2 nights in a row. The Fried Green Tomatoes are a must! I had the Angus Ribeye the first night and the Filet Mignon the second night… both nights it was cooked perfectly! The Crème Brule was amazing… make sure you save room!

The Rib and Chop House is popular with good reason. They’re the best in St. George! Succulent steaks, intriguing side dishes and delicious fish dishes. The staff are well-versed about their menu and wine pairings. I’m happy they have taken the time to eat the dishes themselves and can really describe with finesse the intricacies of their menu. Bravo Rib & Chop House, your competition needs to watch out!

Stopped in on a Friday night. Pretty busy. Sat in the bar, in that I was by myself. Calamari appetizer which was perfect. Salad, baked potato and the cowboy top sirloin. Don’t normally order the sirloin but it was the smallest steak on the menu. Potato large and perfect, steak had the most amazing flavor. I ate way more than I should have, it was too good to push the plate back. Perfect steak place. Looked around and it seemed every plate was cleaned. There was fresh fish on the menu.

Chicken Fried Steak was just like you would experience anywhere in the South, light country gravy with mashed potatoes complimented the steak. For anyone desiring southern cooking in St. George this is a must try. The two servers we had attending to our large party all had a good attitude and made the dining experience pleasurable.

Just had a fabulous dinner here tonight. I had the brown sugar salmon and my husband had the stuffed fish. Try the stuffed fish it was outstanding! Both entrees were tasty! The Cancun grits are a wonderful choice for a side. We appreciated the suggestions made by our server Don… he rocked! The rolls came out hot and they were great. Sure wished we had this place in Salt Lake City.

We wanted to try out some place new to eat., so we chose to go here. My wife ordered a filet and it was grilled to perfection. I ordered brown sugar salmon and was also grilled to perfection. The only downside was that I ordered ranch dressing with my salad and got balsamic vinegar. Then I received broccoli with my salmon when I in fact ordered mashed potatoes. Other then that it was great food and ok service.

We were a group of 7 ladies who had just finished a backpacking trip in the desert. We wanted two things from a restaurant: a full bar and a great time. We got both. The food itself is good and hearty… it is not going to blow your mind, but you will be satisfied. The portion sizes are normal and the menu has some variety. I finished everything on my plate. Mostly, though, I’m writing a review because our server, Celeste, was one of the highlights of our evening. She put to shame every single waiter and waitress I’ve ever encountered in LA or elsewhere. She was personable and fun and efficient. She gave us her opinions and she explained the mysteries of the Zion Wall(I’m not telling, you have to ask her). Thanks to her, my friends and I had a GREAT time… just fantastic. She gets all the stars. Thanks, Celeste!

I don’t get al the bad reviews. I ate here twice in the days in St. George. The first time was due to laziness. I read all the bad reviews but went anyway since it was directly across from my hotel. I had the Jamaican glazed salmon with a dinner salad and sweet potato fries. The salmon was simply outstanding. The fries were very good and the salad was a salad, but fresh and did the job. I returned the next day because the first meal was so good. The next night I had the filet based on my colleague’s feedback the night before. It was fine but nothing spectacular. I’d go back n a heartbeat for the salmon, though. Service was okay, nothing spectacular. Yeah, the writing of the server’s name upside down on the butcher paper tablecloth is hokey and completely unnecessary, but so what? I don’t know that I’ll b coming back to St. George again anytime soon, but if I do, I’ll definitely come back here. Quite good, and two meals with zero issues.

Waiter with a beard was very detailed and good service. Food was not good. Seared ahi terrible dipping sauce and the texture nasty but I ordered it, so I had to eat it. Lamb chops were good but everything else I’d say Dennys type quality. Coconut shrimp appetizers were minut. Gumbo very average. Wouldn’t come back here again. Will stick to Outback & Texas Roadhouse next time visit St George for steak. Gun Barrel Steakhouse is good too. As soon as I posted on their FB, they deleted it. Wasted money on less than mediocre food. It’s been a day and no one from this restaurant has reached out or tried to find out what it was that was really bad. No manager ever appeared to ask how everything was. Didn’t want to embarrass my kids last night so I didn’t ask for manager which I should have. That kitchen staff is horrible for putting out crap food.

This place was… ok. It was right next to the hotel we stayed in and a brand new place to try so we figured why not! Also the girl at the front desk said it was really good so we gave it a shot. First of all, the layout of this restaurant is very weird. It’s all one big room with nothing to break up the space so it almost feels like you’re sitting in a hotel dining hall crashing someone’s wedding or bar mitzvah. Most of the tables were round and packed pretty closely together as well which made for not a very intimate or steakhouse-like experience. Service was nice however, some people have mentioned, they do the upside-down crayon writing of their name on the paper table cloth so instead of feeling like«RIB&CHOPHOUSE» now you’re at Macaroni Grill? They seem to be having an identity crisis. Food was also just ok. My mom & I both ordered the GRILLED fish of the day and it was not grilled but instead steamed/sauteed and very, very wet. It was cooked fine but… I expected grilled. Because of this, there was no flavor whatsoever in either the fish or the spinach(also very wet) and we were both underwhelmed with our dishes. My husband & brother had the ribs which were ok but the waitress was talking them up like they were award winning. My dad got the lamb which he seemed to like so I guess no complaints there. The best thing I can remember about this place is the bleu cheese dressing. It was homemade and pretty good, but even then I’ve still had better. I mean maybe fish is the wrong thing to order at a «rib & chop house» but you’d think at the very least they would be able to grill any piece of meat you want. Overall, A-Ok if you’re lazy and don’t want to drive anywhere from your hotel. But even then, there’s a Cracker Barrel and some sports bar & grill place right across the street! This place definitely has a fair share of competition.

Went to Rib Chop heading back to Las Vegas. Service and ambiance were good. The Caesar salad was fresh and very tasty. The problem was the entrees we ordered. I ordered the Bone in ribeye medium and my wife ordered the Pork Chop medium. Both arrived at the table smoking hot out of the oven at 400 degrees per the server. Once we cut into both pieces of meat, they were both raw inside. Not Rare, Raw The server offered to put them back in the oven but we had already cut into the meat so the juices would have dried out. Disappointed, we decided to leave and wait until we got back to Vegas.

We were pulling into the Cracker Barrel when we noticed this place over on the left. We all came to mutual agreement to give it a try. I have to say the name sounded enticing. To start off, the service wasn’t bad it was actually pretty decent, besides our server talking so fast we could barely keep up. We were greeted friendly and seated quickly. It was pretty dead in there except for another family and a table of elders. It filled up right about 6pm as we were leaving. She also kept the refills coming which was very appreciated! As for the food I was sadly disappointed. I had the pulled pork with cole slaw, babe had the chicken fried steak, dad had the fried shrimp and mom had the Louisiana jambalaya. Deegan of course loves to share, so he was eyeballing Grandpa’s shrimp. I chose a salad with mine and babe went with the gumbo. Salad wasn’t bad until I found some really old limp pieces of lettuce. It’s never good when it’s limp. ;]. The pulled pork came out on a giant bun and I expected it to be over loaded with meat, but it was only loaded with the BBQ sauce that I didn’t particularly like. I only ever eat my pulled pork with coleslaw, but this coleslaw looked old. It was off color and again limp. I’m very much into coleslaw, I try it every where we go and fresh is key. It had a very strong vinegar taste so I merely set it off to the side and moved on with my life. I could tell babe wasn’t so much into the food either, but I’m sure his review will be coming shortly. Overall it gets two stars mostly for the food but there was just nothing riveting or stand out for me. Won’t be back.
