Wallbeds by Wilding

I walked in to the Wilding Wallbeds store by chance. I had no intention of buying a bed. But after looking at the quality, ease of raising and lowering, and the space saving opportunity, I bought a mission style queen wallbed with mattress. They said it would be 6 – 8 weeks before delivery and they installed the bed within that timeframe. The installers were experienced and professional. The bed quality is outstanding. The people that have slept on the bed say it’s very comfortable. I can now use that bedroom as an exercise room when I don’t have company. The wallbed is a great space saving solution. The ease of raising and lowering is amazing. Wish I’d found this solution sooner.

I have and currently am experiencing a few issues:
1^st issue– We purchased the bed in December and the sales person who I will only write his initials R.P. failed to let us know that there was an extra charge for the cabinet we ordered. We overlooked that that and continues with our purchase.
When asked about installation and delivery, R.P. said that the delivery is free but the installation is $ 300. R. P told us that the installation is easy so we opted not to spend the extra $ 300
2^nd issue– When the bed was delivered the company stated that they are only are to delver it to the nearest dry place. I assumed they would bring it in side but I was wrong. R. P. never explained this to us. The person that delivered the bed was
supposed to put it into at least in a covered area, like a garage, but the shipping company dropped it on our driveway. (will write up a Unilocal report on «best moving company later)
3^rd issue– We opened the bed and there are scratches and dings all over it. I called W. by W. where I purchased the bed in Chino Hills and was told that I have to call customer service. I called customer service and they are closed until Monday.
So now a bed that I needed by mid January will most likely not happen until mid February. We spent 3k on this bed, money not well spent!
I do like their styles and the quality does appear to be good, hopefully by February I can come back with a better review…

We recently purchased a Wall Bed from Wilding and we have to say the product is fantastic and looks great. We assembled the bed using the YouTube video without any serious problems. There was some confusion when it came time to install the lights and the placement of the kill switch but nothing we couldn’t think through. Our only disappointment was the white glove shipping that we requested which, to make a long story short, was no fault of Wilding. Wilding stood by their commitments and even backed out the white glove cost from our invoice. Great people to work with and excellent follow through. We will recommend Wilding to anyone interested in a Wall Bed. Thanks Wilding!!!

Sales process was very good and the quality of the product was excellent but the delivery process is a nightmare (hence the overall low rating). I paid the extra several hundreds of dollars for «white glove» delivery service. Definitely not worth the money as all it means is that you get a bunch of heavy parts dumped in a room. The beds come unassembled, very similar to buying something from IKEA, even though we did not buy it as a «Do it yourself» option. Customer service was virtually worthless and did not return calls.

Bought a wall bed from them in August. Good price, fast delivery and very helpful people when you call them about advice for mattress type etc.
