*This review is solely for the after school program.
My niece and nephew are enrolled in the program and my family and I can’t praise this program, and it’s coordinator, Chris, enough! As the adults in the family work odd/​late hours, having a safe place for the children to go to after school is definitely a blessing! There are tutors there for the kids if they need assistance with schoolwork, as well as many toys, games, and other kids for them to play with. Chris is extremely patient and connects with the children in a way that’s truly inspiring. The only reason why they don’t get the full 5 stars is that we weren’t aware the kids ride the bus for QUITE some time before they actually get to the Y due to the scheduled drop offs. I’d rather pay extra money to have them spend that extra time at the Y, in the program, than dropping off other kids for an hour or so. Other than that though, I can’t say enough good things about Chris and all of the tutors there! THANK YOU!
