Excel Dentistry

I have been to Excel Dentistry opp Knollwood Mall about 3 times.
I had Dr. Melissa and Dr. Shibko work on my teeth and my wife’s too. They are both very professional and caring. They make sure that we are comfortable and that all our questions are answered even if it takes a lot of time.
The staff ensures that there is little or no wait time which is another plus.
The clinic is very clean and well maintained.

We made an appointment for our daughter in August. They were booked until October. When here appointment came up in October we were called the day of and said that her insurance was switching in a week and they would not take the current insurance. So we had to reschedule. They were booked until today January2. She has been in pain since on a tooth ache. We reschedule and was given a call today saying that they no longer are accepting new patience with our insurance. She has been waiting 6 months for this appointment. Would not recommend them to anyone!!!

Dr. Shibko outlined the same plan that my dentist of twenty years in another state had, but I waited on until I came to Minnesota. Same plan, pure professionalism. He carried out the plan with excellent care, using a soft touch and minimal discomfort. Dr. Shibko is a caring, highly trained person who I would trust my children with. Amanda was his assistant and was personable and relaxing.. She is also very professional and caring.

Modern clinic, super nice staff all around. The modernity of the clinic, though, cannot be understated. Not only do they use state-​of-​the-​art machines to give you a much more detailed picture of each individual tooth, but there is a computer screen in front of you that allows you to visualize the information the practitioner is telling you at the same time. The layout of the software is fairly easy to read, and so this really allows you to better understand the situation you have with each individual tooth. Additionally, they track the health of each individual tooth throughout your relationship, which leads to micro-​specified care.
They also only do composite fillings, so if you are on MA – and yes, they take state health care! – your insurance will cover the composite fillings because they are the only option at this clinic. They also are environmentally conscious. For example, the patient forms you fill out are done on laminated paper with a marker. The documents are scanned and then wiped clean. Think of the amount of paperwork this avoids! Why don’t more places do this?!
Every single staff member I came into contact here wasn’t just nice, they seemed to intrinsically care rather than just doing it because you are supposed to. I was simply looking for a dentist who wasn’t shady, so I took a chance on the fact they had updated tech and hit the jackpot. As long as I live here and as long as they are open, I will be going here.
