Word to the wise. Go here for lunch. Salad and pizza special is $ 6.45. Amazing price and this is one of my favorite salads in St. Louis so it’s tough to beat. The pizza and service are adequate. The salad is the best ever!

First time in St Louis and I loved trying the local pizza and toasted raviolis. Cute little place and friendly staff.

Heard alot about A’mis so I decided to give yhem a try. I ordered the crispy chicken wings which were fried so hard they were dry and stiff. Primavera entrée was pretty substandard. Lots of huge vegetables that needed to be cut with a knifewith the blandest fetuccine noodles. It literally had no taste at all. I decided to make a sauce of my own to get some kind of enjoyment from this dish. The two caesar salads I bought had huge lettuce pieces that needed to be cut along with the rough core pieces you would normally toss out. I dont know what yhe rage is over the house dressing. Its very sweet and not to my liking at all. The deluxe pizza ordered was mediocre. The best thing I had were the toasted ravioli that was $ 8.75 too much for 12. I couldve went to the grocery store and bought a huge bag for that much. This restaurant is wayyyy overrated. Order at your own risk. My order seemed rushed and careless.

Usually a little star stingy but this pizza is the best I’ve had in while. Three styles, Chicago, St. Louis and New York. Friendly staff, clean and old fashioned style ambiance. Pizza crust has a great taste.

I’ve been going to this location since 2001. I worked in Rock Hill then so I visited A’mis roughly twice a week for a year and a half. Now I have no problem driving 30 — 40 minutes for quality. This is quality. I must admit I haven’t exactly ventured around the menu and i don’t really want to. I go here for 4 things… salad, rolls(yes, the rolls), sausage, and/or pizza. The house salad dressing is like a thick sweet Italian. Heavy on the parm and minced fresh onion. Always order extra rolls and dip into the dressing. And dip your crust into the dressing. Dip your finger in the dressing. Get extra dressing on the side. And top. And bottom. The Italian sausage sandwich is one of the best I’ve had. If they don’t make it in house, they have a specialty butcher mixing it for them. Well seasoned and just the right amount of fennel seed. Now for their specialty… in my opinion. The New York style pizza is outstanding. The crust is crisp with a slight chew. So far Pizzarelli’s is the only place I’ve found in St. Louis that approaches the perfect level of crisp to chew A’mis has mastered. When you pay this much attention to the detail of making the perfect crust you don’t skimp on the other features.(That would be like designing a Ferrari and dropping a Yugo engine and Ford Festiva interior into it.) After going to this location for 15 years I can honestly say I have NOT been disappointed in any of my meals. Turning left onto Manchester to head back home, well…

Service was great kept our drinks full and very friendly. Ordered a thin crust sausage pizza. Hardly any toppings and sauce was very bland. Very disappointed.

A’mis… ah, to even speak the name makes my mouth water. I will happily drive 25 minutes here to get my deep-dish fix, because I know that I will not be disappointed. This is a casual sit down spot located on Manchester, with a lively atmosphere and fantastic service. Even though I’m always there when it is a full house, I don’t think I’ve ever waited longer than 30 minutes for an entrée. From the delicious house dressing and massive salads to the hot, cheesy pies, I cannot fathom how any A’mis menu item wouldn’t make you smile with satisfaction. Even if you weren’t satisfied, I’m positive that the staff would be happy to fix the issue and do so immediately. Plus, you can get your favorite beer on draft here. Who doesn’t love draft beer and deep dish? I always leave with leftovers and a smile on my face. A’mis has been my favorite spot to get a deep dish pizza in the St. Louis area since I moved here, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

To whoever complains about this place… whatever. Amis is awesome! My family & friends have been eating here for years. The workers are always super nice, & the food is always amazing. Good job Amis! Keep it up!

Place appears to be managed by a bunch of 22-year-old stoners. Ordered takeout and when I got home the pizza was completely wrong. Took it back, through a torrential downpour, and it took them about 40 minutes to replace it. Their reaction to the whole debacle was basically«meh.» I told them we wouldn’t be back(my family had been going here for several years, although not regularly) and they didn’t seem to care. The food is mediocre.

Best pizza in St Louis hands down. Anytime I’m asked, this is where I tell people to go. The salads are amazing also. Oh and the burgers are great too! Good job guys

Stopped in for pizza with my daughter. Ordered a pizza. Service was great up till our pizza came out. Toppings were pretty much shifted to one side. I mean really shifted. We had ordered half without mushrooms, they were all over the place. Barely any black olives, I could count on my 1 hand, over cooked. Seriously, I would not ask for reorder but pizza was not pleasant looking I asked the waiter about our pizza being that I believe he should have looked it over before serving us. He called over his manager who was another young lady. Looked at my pizza, said its suppose to be that way it happens. I inquired about the topping and she said«well it’s not enough there I agree». She took a while looking at it, I wondered what she doing. I asked her if we could get a new pizza and she finally responded she would. New pizza better but not much. We liked the thin crust, sauce tasty not over done, but they need to evaluate the cooks pizzas a little more.

Like many other reviewers, I can only vouch for the pizza delivery. We order lots of thin crust and New York style pizza, salad and sometimes toasted ravs. Ami’s is a really great change of pace if you get tired of the usual suspects. We especially love the house salad dressing. Toasted ravs are always good. My kids like Amis, but alas still insist on brand«D» about half the time. Out of 30 orders or so over the past 6 years, we’ve never had a problem. I think we’ve had the same delivery guy 29 out of 30 times and he’s always friendly. Solid 4 stars here. The quality is always good, but every now and then it’s GREAT. If they could nail it every time I’d give them 5 stars.

Really disappointed. I placed an order online and it said it was confirmed and would be at my house in an hour. Never showed up and my card was charged.

Great place. I love the window storefront with the neon lights(I’m a sucker for neon lights). I tried the New York Style pizza which was excellent. I’ve been here two times and I hope to come back soon.

Unfortunately, the quality of food has gone down hill as of lately. Having been a customer since 2012 I feel that I can form a valid opinion, with that said, I have noticed a steady decline in overall presentation and value. I don’t mean to say the food is necessarily bad, however it has become evident that things are not as they were when my family first became customers. If you’re asking patrons to spend upwards of $ 25 for a simple pizza and salad most would expect the finished product to reflect the asking price. The last few orders have been sub par in our opinion and for that we will no longer offer our business to Amis Pizza.

Having been to A’mis a few times, I feel that I have had enough experience to give this place a just review. The first time I came here it was because a friend of mine had recommended it. He told me about their great steak and pizza. Steak and pizza?! OK, I am sold. The first time I came here though, I did not order either food items. I was in the mood for some pasta and so I decided on the linguini and clams and a dinner salad with house dressing. I have to say, their house dressing is quite tasty and the linguini did not turn out badly either. They gave me such a large portion that I ended up having 2 more meals from it. The second time, I decided to try out their pizza with the St. Louis style crush. I am a huge fan of thin crust pizza and this place does thin crust pizza well. I am glad I finally tried it! Then I also got to try their steak… Yum! I know this isn’t a steak house or anything but their steak was really flavorful and delicious. Overall, I would say this place does food the right way and it’s definitely worth a try! Service has always been excellent. I noticed in other reviews they have mentioned that there are mostly younger people working at this restaurant which is true but they are always so nice and attentive.

Courteous service. 2nd visit in quite a while. Tried the Chicago style pizza before, and it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. This time, I enjoyed the salad and rolls. The tortellini was OK, and the lasagna could have used a boost in flavor, also had lots of liquid(water?) in bottom of baking dish it came in. I know they’ve been around a long time, so I must not be ordering the more popular meals.

Surprised by pizza! I had no prior knowledge of A’Mis, but Friday night we were treated to some Chicago style goodnees! Last Friday we hung out with an old friend, and since he was doing me a big favor, I decided to treat him to some beer. Actually, we bought him two sampler cases of craft beer. Moved by our sentiment, he offered to order us some A’mis. He claimed that we’ve seen this za before, but it’s been a while. I was glad for the refresher course! He called it in for delivery, but apparently they are out of our range. However, they didn’t realize it until the order was processed. Luckily, the driver was still sent, and when he came to the door, we were informed that my friend’s apartment was out of the delivery zone. A situation like this could have gone very badly, but we were fortunate enough to have the place follow through, instead of requesting we pick-up or cancelling the order. Overall, the pizza was average Chicago style. Nothing fancy, but of good quality. If I were to compare to something in ChiTown, I would say Giordano’s. We ordered two mediums, and they were cut into four huge slices each! The sauce was chunky, which I’m not huge on, and the pepporoni and sausage were solid, but not my favorite. All in all, I wouldn’t go out of my way for A’mis Chicago style, but they won major points for following through with our delivery. If you’re a fan of classic ChiTown pizza, then you may want to check out A’mis.
