After flying in to St Louis, my coworker and I decided to find a place close by to watch the Seahawks and Vikings play. This was the closest place from the airport. The atmosphere was great. The waitress, Marian, was awesome. The general manager was even walking the floors helping the staff out and greeting the customers. The salmon was tasty but the veggies were a little bland. Four stars because the televisions in the bar area needs to be updated. One Sony flat screen has good quality the others are very old and it was difficult to see the football game due to clarity.

I was really disappointed with the service. I hate to down a business so hard but come on. I felt like I had been robbed of my time with my daughter because it wasn’t an enjoyable time, and I payed for that? It feels like this place is hit or miss depending on if the manager is paying any attention or not. I come here a lot, or did. Let start with when we were seated, I could hear the table next to me complaining about their appetizer not coming out and one of their entrées had been delivered, it’s been almost ten minutes and they were told that the other entrées would be out shortly. They had a problem with their dessert, and their bill was messed up. I tried to keep a good attitude, and hoped our experience would be different. NOPE!!! We ordered simple water/sprite, chicken strips/fries, and I asked for a appetizer sampler. Simple enough right? 25 mins later our food comes out. Still no drinks food was placed on table and she walked away. I waited for her to return to ask her for drinks again. A few minutes past and my daughter wanted her drink so I took myself up to the bar to get the drinks I had asked for twice. The food was ok, but when things go that bad out of the gate, I didn’t enjoy any of it. The manager never came out to talk to me even when I stood at the bar for 5min waiting on a water/lemonade. Which I said water and sprite, but hey who ever really wants what they say right. Sorry to say this place will be checked off my list.

service is unbelievably slow! Waited an hour twice after we ordered. Waitresses never came and let us know an eta on the food.

The stars are for Jason, the bartender, only. He has a great personality and lots of energy. Anticipates his guests needs. The food is subpar-even for an Applebee’s. I am a steak connoisseur. Against my better judgement, I ordered a steak, and although I asked for rare, it came out an indistinguishable doneness level that was neither rare not well. It was white-not red, pink or brown. Looked like a 9oz solid chunk of fat. Weird. Hate sending back food, but I couldn’t eat that. Got the shrimp and broccoli cavatappi. Tasted too strongly of lemon, the broccoli was barely cooked(hard), and pasta was over-cooked. I know this is a basic casual bar, but if they are trying to compete with Friday’s or ruby Tuesday’s, this location is not even in the running.

Good food, good service. Decent menu selection. Been here many times for lunch or evening eats. Always a good time.

Being from Chicago, it’s hard to pick what would be the best restaurant around here so I decided to try Applebee’s. Pretty much disappointed with the quality of food after they gave me a well-done steak when I requested for medium well; and then the shrimp linguine was by far the saltiest I have ever had. I don’t think I’ll be back there again in the near future…

We sat at the bar and had dinner Tje bartender was great and so was the service. The beer was cold and reasonable price. The food was only OK. Applebee’s thinks everyone in the world likes garlic. Many do not and how about an entrée without a heavy topping that hides the taste of the main item ordered. Applebee’s has ruined their menu. As to this location it is very good if you like Applebee’s it was one of my favorite places before the menu change two years ago.

This is Applebee’s people, not Morton’s or the like. You know what the food is, you know what it costs, you know what the service is like, and this location does not surprise. This is my neighborhood location and I can say that although they live up to the Applebee’s typical standard food and service, they do excel at being untypically friendly and accommodating. They get extra points in my book for truly buying into and creating an atmosphere of Applebee’s being your neighborhood friendly bar and grille. For this reason alone more often than not, I continue to patronize this location.

Applebee’s is, in a nutshell, a place you go when everywhere else is either packed or nothing else is open late at night. This location is no exception. I went here with my husband and mother in law on a Monday night. Other than there being maybe two other tables, it was nearly empty. We ordered the 2 for $ 10.99 special for myself and my mother in law — wedge salad and steaks medium rare. Apparently medium rare means well done and shoe leather. My husband got the riblets special, which were burned. All in all, the visit was horrible and we tried twice to get our steaks fixed. We ended up just giving up and dealing with it. The manager was slightly apologetic. However, I have to wonder just what the problem is if the table next to us had the same problem(overdone steaks and poorly made riblets). Applebee’s used to be a decent place. Not anymore.
