I wish I could give them a zero star rating. Whoever their«regional manager» Nicole is she is the last person I would want speaking to customers. New home buyers we called to get service since this what our landlord used with no problems. So Nicole proceeds to start this process and notices there is a bill due at this address well she says we are liable for those charges before we can start service. WHAT?! She doesn’t believe that we are new homeowners but the previous resident and we are LYING to her. Mind you I have called waste management and republic services and was told Aspen has the contract. She flat out refused service to me and my wife. We had to call the person we were buying the house from to call Aspen to verify our story. When we call back miss professional couldn’t even offer up an apology.

I had this company for a couple of years. Started out fine, but over time they started sending out bills later and later. It got to the point where I was having to pay a late fee every time I got my bill cause the bill came after it was due. It got to the point where I realized I was paying almost $ 400 a year for trash and recycling. I would call them up and try to talk to them about it, but they would just say that the bill is still due regardless of when I get it. Considering I only have a couple bags of trash a month, I decided to drop them. Save your money and your sanity and go with someone else.

I’ve had Aspen Waste at my house in Belleville, IL for a couple years. Due to my lease expiring and me moving to a city that has a contracted waste removal company for my trash I had to cancel Aspen’s service. I called and gave them notice of this about 2 weeks prior. From this experience, I guess this was a mistake. It seemed like once you give them notice that you have to cancel their service they give you«trashy» service. I had some items, that would fit in the trash container, not picked up by the company. I requested a manager, and a couple days later she calls me with an attitude. I’ve never received service like this before. The strange thing is, I recommended this company to a co-worker a year ago; I wish I never did. I have had 3 times where they missed garbage… one incident where half the garbage can was emptied. Do not use Aspen. The only nice thing I can say about them is they have nicer trash carts, but horrible customer service.

Trash bill dated Dec 20th came yesterday… trash can repossessed today. REALY…$ 44. bill… they will bring it back for $ 15 extra…, trash man embarressed big truck pulled up thought we were getting a delivery… they must really be hurting for $$. BADBUSINESS. So now they have lost a customer, and not got paid… even the truck driver said, «I wouldn’t blame you if you changed companies.» Seemed kinda funny… Gas from St. Louis, paying a truck driver, …Assured the girl on the phone it would be paid on the 31st, next week???
