Best breakfast in town huge portions have been coming here for 2 years. Kids love the chocolate chip Mickey pancakes.

Let me start by saying I think I messed up and ordered lunch. It was12:30 pm … most of the customers were doing breakfast and it looked Awesome. I was greeted by a waitress that was doing 5 other things. She told me where to sit and before I could get to my seat, had another asking me what I wanted to drink. Very good service and friendly as all get out. Little country, homey feel to the place. The menu was 5 pages of hard choices, then they point you to the large special of the day board to even make you 2nd guess yourself. I went with the bacon guacamole burger. There is an option to have a double, but glad I didn’t. Couldn’t finish a single. Here’s why it didn’t get the 5th star. The burger was a bit over cooked. Still had good flavor, but a bit on the hockey puck side.

Usually my trips here would earn a 4 star review since the food is very affordable and large portions that are usually pretty good. Today however was a 1 star or 0 star review that I bumped up to 2 star due to good visits in the past. Did a carry out today, the bacon was undercooked the hash browns were undercooked and the toast was closer to being just bread than toast as it wasn’t really toasted… I threw away over half of my meal, it was gross and there was no point in eating more. I’ll be back to eat here again because the food is usually good but today it was terrible… an absolute waste of time and money and I’ll be having a bowl of cereal after sending this.

Great food, great prices! Don’t expect anything fancy from the atmosphere and décor. It was loud in the restaurant, but that did not take away from the enormous portions and delicious food!

I came here on a Sunday morning to get breakfast to go. It looks like your typical greasy spoon diner. Service was fast and friendly and the food is cheap. I ordered the steak bagel. It was VERY good, the bun was lightly toasted and soft. The portion size is large, I couldn’t finish it. I will definitely be checking out their burgers in the future!

Burgers and breakfast seem like an odd combo, and the outside of the restaurant does nothing to alleviate that. I went with my 12 year old daughter and 4 year old son on a Tuesday and we all had breakfast. My son got the chocolate chip Mickey Mouse pancake with chocolate chips and hot damn, it was good. I think my plate was called the Southern or something. It was biscuits and gravy with sausage patties and eggs and hash browns — plenty of food and also really good. The three of us got out of there for under $ 30 after tip, so that’s not too bad. I highly recommend it for breakfast, in spite of the fact that they use Mrs. Butterworth’s right out of the bottle for syrup.

This place is amazing. Burgers are huge and delicious. The staff is awesome and always nice. My wife loves breakfast food and I like my burgers. This is the place to go to get satisfaction for both. They have huge portions and prices are great. You won’t find a place like this anywhere. Be sure to check it out !!!

Long time eater, first time patron now new regular at this place. WOW!!! It was awesome, had the Mediterranean skillet, it was just loaded, I mean I really can’t describe it except for WOW!!! You have to get it with the tzatziki, it adds a great bright flavor. I also was lucky enough to try the pancakes(totally awesome) and a Denver omelet, which was just completely loaded with ham veggies and cheese AWESOME!!!

Diner food is the best. Cheap, no frills and plenty of character. My heart is full and I have a comfort food hangover.

This place is great. The food is good. The portions are huge. The service is always fantastic. My only complaint is the parking lot. It is way too small. As an employee and patron of a neighboring business, I find that BB&B customers are always parking in our lot and taking spots away from our customers and employees. This is not allowable under the law and it drives me crazy. They even drive through the grassy area to get to our lot. Who does this stuff?

Tried Best Burger & Breakfast for breakfast and were very happy with the food/service. Service was quick, friendly and they kept your coffee cup topped off. Menu had plenty of options — only problem was that so many things sounded god and it was a touch choice. Skillets were hot, big and tasty when they came out. The Broadway(Meat Lover’s) skillet was excellent. We are definitely adding Best Burger to our Saturday morning breakfast rotation. We also will be back to try the burgers — they looked great on the menu.

We’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened, and our friends keep telling us what a great place to get burgers. Since March, it’s now open for supper, too, which allowed us to give it a try. We both thought we’d have a burger, but given the dinner options and breakfast options, we forwent the burgers and had their dinner plates. The meals came out rapidly and hot, and was exactly what was expected. The fries were outstanding, and the salad was made with fresh Boston lettuce. The green beans were canned, and the dinner rolls packaged. This is not the place for a fancy meal with unique preparation — but it is the place for a solid meal with plenty of options, at a VERY reasonable price. Service was attentive, prompt, and pleasant. We will be back.

I am so glad there is another great spot for dining so close to where I live! I woke up on a Sunday around 11 a.m. and did not feel like making breakfast. In fact, I didn’t feel like doing much of anything. I knew that I needed to eat something, but couldn’t make up my mind on where to go. After doing some research I thought it would be a good idea to check out Best Burger & Breakfast since it wasn’t too far away. I had all intention of ordering breakfast from the Best Burger & Breakfast, but by the time I arrived it was close to 1 p.m. and I was not really in the mood for breakfast anymore. When we walked in the place wasn’t that busy so we were able to grab a booth right up front. The server came over and brought us water and also took our drink orders. I opted to order a coke since I needed some caffeine. He gave us some time to look over the menu before returning with out drinks. I looked over the menu and decided to order the chicken wrap. They can make it either grilled or fried and they can add in sauce or not. I ordered the wrap fried with honey mustard. It was a unique craving I was having that day. It came with fries and I could not wait to get them. My bf ordered the burger since technically if you go to the place with the«best burger» you have to order one! He was excited about the flavor of the burger and was ready to eat just as much as I was. Our food came over pretty quickly and was very fresh and hot. The fries were crispy and the wrap was perfect temperature. He gave me a packet of honey mustard just as I requested. Our server brought over some napkins and refilled our drinks and then gave us time to eat before checking in on us. The food really was good and I was impressed with it. I almost ate all of my wrap, but definitely got full pretty quickly. I know my bf enjoyed his burger because he ate all of it and didn’t talk much while doing so! It was a winner. When we got the bill I was shocked at how inexpensive it was for the 2 of us to dine. I am so used to city prices for everything so this was a nice experience that didn’t break the bank! Overall, Best Burger & Breakfast has my vote for lunch and now I need to make sure to visit for a chance to try the breakfast items!

A co-worker told me about this place when I told him about my love for breakfast food. I am now forever indebted to him. Hands down THE best veggie omelette I’ve ever had. It was huge(seriously. food for daysss) fluffy with crispy edges, cheesy, chock-full of veggies, and it comes with a side of spectacular hash browns. I also ordered a short stack because I’m young and naïve like that. HOLYLOTTAFOOD! I had to take them home because I had no room left after I got half way through my veg omelette and taters. Pancakes were fabulous, dense, but somehow still fluffy. So good! The service was great too, super nice as soon as I walked in and the coffee refills were quick and often. I also loved the other patrons here, it was just a real homey, old-school type breakfast diner. No frills, just awesome food and good service y good people. Annnd they’re now open till 8 on weeknights, just one step closer to being a 24⁄7 place, woo!

This place is right next door to work which works out great for early breakfast before opening the store! I was first here for lunch and got the spicy burger which was great! I’ve had many thoughts of that burger since. I’ve also gone in for breakfast before work and gotten the southern skillet(I think that’s what it’s called). Hash browns, biscuits, sausage, gravy, eggs. It was really yummy and they give you 2 full biscuits! I took some to work to have for lunch that day and it was still good reheated. No complaints! Oh, and they’re now open for dinner! No more closing by 3pm!

If size matter to you, this is the place for breakfast. The portions are so huge, I can’t finish a skillet or omelette. I always take at least a third of it home to enjoy the next day. BB&B is related to another of my favorite breakfast restaurants, The Boardwalk Café in Webster Groves. Now I can head south or west for a hearty breakfast. Today I had The German Omelet, which was stuffed with sausage, peppers, onion, tomato and cheddar cheese. Going low-carb to lose weight, they accommodated me by replacing my hash browns with fresh sliced tomatoes. I also enjoyed a side of fresh spinach. My omelet was stuffed to the maximum and was extra fluffy too. I missed the hash browns, but the spinach & tomatoes were a satisfying substitution. My DP went with a burger, the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. He raved, saying it was now his favorite in the city. He even went as far as saying, he liked it better then the burgers at Carl’s Diner. The beef was hand pressed, well seasoned and prepared to perfection on a diner grill. The fries were crispy, making them a perfect accompaniment to this juicy, tasty diner burger. Our server was friendly and made good recommendations from the menu. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. It is obvious it was an old Wendy’s that became a BBQ place and is now BB&B. When its breakfast, diner food, I can deal with a divey, tacky décor.

I’m a fan of anything opening in Affton, and when I saw Boodles was being replaced by a place that served both burgers AND breakfast, I was on board. I stopped by during their first week, and thought everything was A-OK. I’d give it 3.5 stars, and I’m hoping to bump them up after another visit or two. The first thing to know: this is a carbon copy of Boardwalk Café in Webster. Same owner. Same menu. I thought it was a takeout kind of quick place, but it’s a sit down restaurant. They do carry-out, but there are plenty of tables, too. Second: They close early. Like, 2:30 pm early. This is a bummer for me, because I’d give them dinner business. The menu is standard American food. Burgers, sandwiches, wraps and yes — breakfast. I opted to try both in the same visit, and thought it was cool of them to let me sub french fries for one single pancake. I believe the waitress’s words were«Live your life, girl.» I can get down with that. The burger was A-OK. I ordered it medium, but it was more of a medium-well. They have a dozen or so different options, and I went with the cajun bleu cheese burger. It packed some heat, mainly from the fresh jalapeño slices. Yow. The star of the show was the pancake. I’m not a big pancake person, but they have their own batter recipe that was a little sweeter and not as heavy as I’m used to. The Mrs. Butterworth bottle on the table made me laugh, because I’m the type of girl who laughs at lady-shaped syrup bottles on restaurant tables I guess. For a soda, burger and pancake(don’t you judge me.) it was around $ 8.50. I’ll probably come back to try a salad with a side of french toast.
