Bi-State Concrete

I am giving them 0 stars!!! My nextdoor neighbor hired them to do their drive way, which bi-​state had to 3 times!!! My daughter who at the time was 1 was awoken from her nap by the workers fighting and throwing shovels, and other various tools at my neighbors house before they thwy started throwing each other around, not only were they fighting they were YELLING profanities at eachother. Around 4 o’clock they wrapped up for the day, but left all of their tools and trash in my yard, literally scattered all over my front lawn. I called the owner and told him about it which he didnt seem to care, i told him all of their tools were in my garage and they can come and get them. The owner or manager came over and got the tools while he gave me an Insincere apology. They tied all the down spouts together which is normal practice, then ran them to 1 pipe which is not big enough, but the pipe goes directly to my fence literly 1 inch infront of my fence, which is against code, and dumps into my yard and now my basement floods every time it rains. They will not return my calls, so i called the BBB and then the owner said i stole their tools. Keep in mind the owner or manger cane and picked the tools after i told him what happened. I also pulled one day when they were redoing the driveway for the second time, i find 2 of the workers sitting at the table on my porch my smoking cigarettes which they left on my porch, as they saw me pull up they scattered like roaches. They were the most unprofessional people i have ever met, i am also in the customer service business and i have never disrespected any bodies property like they did to mine, nor have i ever behaved like that in public and never on a job. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS, THE WILL BE HEARING FROM LAWYER, I HAVE SEEN SIMILAR REVIEWS ABOUT THESE GUYS DISRESPECTING THE NEIGHBORS PROPERTY OF A CUSTOMER THEY ARE PERFORMING WORK FOR.

My family and I just used Bi-​State Concrete and what a fantastic job they did on my drive way and a little side walk! I would highly recommend this company. Steven and his new crew is well mannered, always said hello to me and my kids and never once did I catch them slacking off or leaving their trash on my property. Also, when I had any questions or concerns for Steven he would pick up his phone and never did I have to leave a voicemail or talk to his receptionist. What a wonderful family owned business! Thank you BI-​State Concrete!

Watch out! The owner of this company, Steve, is bad news. He is fast to come out and give an estimate, but he doesn’t stand behind the work. Every section of concrete they poured at my home developed cracks. When I called in the Fall he claimed to be too busy and stalled, saying to call back in the Spring. I waited until the summer to call him back and then he had an attitude, blaming me for not calling sooner instead of standing behind his shoddy work. He stalled again saying he was too busy. When he finally sent someone out they merely filled in the crack with caulk which deteriorated within a few months. No follow up afterwards at all. What a joke. This huge stall tactic so they wouldn’t have to use 50 cent worth of caulk? I could have filled the crack myself if I had known that’s all they were going to do. The crack is in the walkway so it’s a trip hazard and to fix it properly it needs to be be replaced not merely filled with caulk. Before the concrete was poured my older neighbor mentioned they weren’t digging down deep enough but I didn’t really pay attention. Big mistake. Don’t waste your money with Bi-​State.
