C-W Fried & Grill

This place is descent and the staff is nice. I want to give it a higher raring, but I just can’t, I just rated the restaurant at 4 stars for food taste.
The food is really good not bad at all! The food had good flavors and is enjoyable to the pallet. I enjoyed the flavors of the chicken, the fish and the tripe is the best I have ever had. However, when it comes to the size of the chicken wings, they are so huge. Right now I’m kind of health conscious about all of these antibiotics and growth hormones that are given to animals to make them grow bigger and faster. I just don’t think that the chicken wings I ate are organic or growth harmone free range chickens at all.
I actually think that they get some of the lower cut of chicken to save on the cost but I could be wrong. I just have never seen chicken wings that were bigger than chicken legs. That makes it hard for me to enjoy those wings because I am freaking out over how big they are… just call me crazy! I am sure other Unilocalers or consumers probably running to try some large wings, if so you will not be disappointed.
Overall, the food is great and I enjoyed the Jack fish fillets and the tripe was the greatest of my meal choices, so flavorful, delicious and savory.
One problem that is keeping me from rating them higher is the location they are located right on the River View Circle this is not the best neighborhood at night so be aware of your surroundings when headed back to your vehicle. The neighborhood at dark has safety factors that takes away from the restaurant for me.
The service is really great and they try to help you any way they can. For a matter of fact, I even received on my purchases an extra fish fillet no charge.
But if you are like me and enjoy trying exotic foods get here and order a tripe sandwich you might want 2 of them, they are that good.

This place has the best fried/​steamed rice money can buy! I don’t know why it’s called the Fried & Grill when it’s mainly a Chinese Restaurant! Their St. Paul’s are also Big and delicious! The only negative is that they are located in the Hood! I order via phone & pick-​up as quickly as possible!:)
