This is my favorite work lunch location. It is right by the east Busch stadium garage, and within an easy walk of my office. They are friendly and helpful. They do both breakfast and lunch. I prefer their lunches. Everything is made when ordered. A wrap usually takes a couple minutes. They make some of the best wraps I’ve ever had. They have no issues with me customizing the order a bit. Some of my favorites are the buffalo chicken wrap and greek gyro. The prices are good for downtown. Wraps about $ 6.50. Salads about the same. They sell Peace tea and Arizona tea in the large 23oz cans for $ 0.99 which is amazing. I am so addicted to those… I give this place 5 stars. It is much better than other places I’ve been to down by the arch. I’ve been coming here about 4 months.

The Deloitte building’s lobby previously hosted a small deli known, perhaps a little unoriginally, as Local Deli. While the small space often left something to be desired, the soups were consistently good, service friendly and prices just a bit under the norm, all of which added up to a place worth trekking a couple of blocks for during lunchtime. What takes the current tenant down a notch, in my opinion, is their pricing against comparable options nearby. The burger here is a pass: it’s freshly grilled but almost certainly frozen and with little character to write about. Against Jack Patrick’s, Culinaria, or Hardee’s, the offering at Café Cornucopia can’t hold its own. The freshly prepped wraps, salads and sandwiches may be the better bet, although there’s plenty of competition on this part of the menu too. From local options like Monty’s or Pickle’s to national ones like Bread Co/Panera, the Café is up against outlets with the same or lower price points for equally or more attractive dishes. Service in the space, although under completely new ownership(as far as I’m aware) remains friendly and, depending on what you order and how backlogged the line is, quick. The café remains tidy and clean with plenty of natural light coming in through the north-facing windows. In short: this isn’t a bad choice for a quick breakfast or lunch, but there are probably better ones nearby.
