I don’t understand the chipotle craze. There is not much flavor and menu options are limited. I normally get the hard chicken or steak tacos. None of the ingredients are remarkable at all. An overpriced Taco Bell in my opinion. The staff is always nice and friendly. The bathrooms and the dining room always clean. I eat here twice a month because I work close by.

1. Clayton location — corner of S. Central & Forsyth. 2. Convenient location — center of a heavy business district, plenty of meter parking available in front. 3. Clean location — wells were spotless, countertop spotless, food fresh. 4. Courteous location — employees were very pleasant with great personalities. 5. Catered — pickup window, making the Chipolte takeout experience smooth as a baby’s bottom(see photo for details).

I have been going to the Clayton Chipotle since 2008 and I can honestly say that it is my favorite Chipotle. The ingredients are always fresh(great guac!) and the restaurant is kept extremely clean. Before I moved, I frequented the restaurant 3 – 4 times a week and became friends with many of the staff. The employees are extremely friendly and make a strong effort to get to know their customers. The manager, Mike, has been at this location since I began going and takes pride in running a tight ship; like his employees, he also befriends his clientele and ensures that each customer has a wonderful experience. This Chipotle location is truly the best!

Last night, my boyfriend and I found ourselves hungry at 8:30 and after a quick search found this chipotle not far from our hotel. We have had Chipotle before, as it is very popular, but I had to rate this one based on the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Not only did we get nothing but kind attitudes(at 15 minutes to closing) but they made sure our food was fresh and even brought out fresh brown rice for our burritos. We normally try not to bother a restaurant 15 minutes until closing as we know of the hassle, but it was refreshing to have this experience. If you find yourself needing a quick bite, I would recommend this location.

They never ever get my order right. I specifically stated«VEGETARIANBURRITO», so my wrap gets steamed, brown or white rice ok, black or pinto ok, and then I see the dreaded scoop go for the chicken and then plop right onto my damn order. Happens almost every time!

Generally solid quick service Mexican. I had the barbacoa burrito while my wife and kid had steak burrito bowls. Everything was well prepared and tasty. I’m not a big fan of the pressurizing burrito line but the service was still friendly and fast. My one complaint is the about half of the time we come here, some of the chips are just too salty to be eaten.

The staff was very friendly on our first visit to a Chipotle and graciously explained how the menu works(pretty simple, but nice to have it explained once). The coolest thing was that they changed out the entire line’s utensils when we mentioned my wife has to eat gluten-free. Awesome! Food was great too!

Have gone here several times over the years for lunch and dinner. This is now a favorite of my kids. The vegetarian burritos have consistently been good and the portions are just right. The ingredients, including the salsa, have been fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is also above average for a chain – interesting modern interior with good photographs and sculpture on the walls, you feel a bit like you are in a museum restaurant. The big windows also make this an interesting place to watch the street life at main-and-main in downtown Clayton. The only downside is that parking is a problem, as it is for most establishments in downtown Clayton. (As far as Mexican food in Clayton goes I still mourn the loss of Zuzus, they occupied two different locations on this block for a long time.)

Aside from the awesome food they have the servers are very friendly, remember what you tell them and are fast! Also their stores are clean and there’s plenty of seating.

Becoming the Duchess of Chipotle is surely among the greatest culinary honors one can achieve. I accomplished this feat by refusing to cook for weeks on end, necessitating many supplementary burritos and chips. I can’t believe I’m reviewing another Chipotle location, but HEARMEOUT, GUYS– The Clayton one is a notch above the rest in my book. The staff is super friendly and they always hook it up in the guacamole department(my favorite department). I’m someone who cares deeply about the structural integrity of my burritos, and these people know how to roll ‘em(unlike the Delmar location… those n00bs). In summary, I will leave you with my summary of Chipotle from one of my previous reviews: «Do you like guiding people through the process of making you a burrito/tacos/burrito bowl from behind a shield of glass? Then Chipotle might be for you!» Chipotle fo’ lyfe.

Loud punk rock music playing so loud I could not hear. Burrito was rolled so loose it came apart.

One star. One pathetic star thanks to an incredibly rude cashier working the lunch shift. I’ve given maybe 2 reviews this bad in my whole Unilocal history, so take it from me that this experience was the pits. Food? Pretty good. Line? Not bad. Parking? It’s Clayton. Today’s visit started off well. We were greeted by a really nice employee making the goods. But when we got to the cashier, this Chipotle lost my business forever. He was so rude and dismissive, that I literally asked«I’m sorry… are we really having this conversation?» as a whole line of people watched me blush from how badly this guy embarrassed me. His tone upset me so much I lost my appetite. I’ll spare you all the details of our interaction, but rude staff=no return visit from me. Too many Chipotles in this town to have to go back to this one and suffer some burrito slinging jackass on a power trip. If I ever even go back to a Chipotle.

This location is my favorite. It is always clean and well maintained. The place itself is very large and has plenty of room for people to sit and eat. The workers here are very friendly and nice and will accommodate your every need. The portions are decent and they are not stingy on the meat which is a big plus! I am happy that they have included brown rice in the menu, a healthier alternative to the white rice. Parking is a bit of a pain, you either park on the street or if you drive further down on the right there is a parking area next to the church.

have you EVER heard of a «fast food» restaurant calling you on your phone to ask how you enjoyed your lunch? I had to listen three times to believe it was them. Who does that? I placed my order via their iPhone app, they called me to make sure I ordered it right, then called me an hour later to ensure I liked my food. Wow. I’m speechless.

I’m normally not someone to go to fast food joints being a vegetarian. I have a class near here one night a week and sometimes stop by for a quick take out to hold me over during class since I don’t get home until after 9pm. Clayton parking sucks but at the time I come here it’s usually easy to get a spot right in front. The PEOPLE who work here are the high point. They are SO friendly and nice — it really makes a difference. One guy especially is always really nice and seems happy to be working there. The burrito can be tailored to your taste, which I like since I’m not a fan of salsa. It is decent and vegetarian friendly. I wish they had queso dip! They have good quality drinks like Nantucket Nectars and Izze. Score! I’m sure I’ll keep coming back for a quick bite.

It’s a chain but it’s always fresh, tastes good and satisfies. I give Chipotle two thumbs-up for having the best guacamole of all the chains out there. Since I stopped in to this Clayton location after a meeting yesterday, I was a bit bummed with the lack of wi-fi. But the staff were all super friendly, someone even approached my table to see if she could get me anything. A+ service! Go with the barbacoa, you can thank me later.

Chipotle is better than Qdoba, hands down. Finally, we found a Chipotle not too far from us, and stopped by this past Halloween. If you’re any fan of Chipotle, you know that in past years you could get a free burrito if you dressed up with aluminum foil. This year it was a little different — you could get a $ 2 bowl or burrito if you dressed up as a processed food item after 6:00pm. Well, it was lunch time and we were hungry, so we decided to go here anyways. I wore a bright orange shirt, planning on being Velveeta Cheese. I pointed this out to the guy who rung us up — the manager was standing by, and even though it was a lame excuse of a costume, and nowhere near 6:00pm, he gave us the $ 2 burrito bowl. AWESOME, and we will be back!
