So we’re 50ish now. It’s a dual-edged sword: on the one hand, we have some maintenance issues; on the other hand, we’re fortunate to be able to afford a few maintenance issues. At 20-something, Therese H. was one of the most beautiful Modern dancers I’ve ever laid eyes on, and she remains in perpetual motion. Glasses aren’t very secure for certain activities, and contacts have become increasingly uncomfortable because of a dry-eye condition. So, independent that she is, she pretty much had the whole LASIK eye-surgery thing researched and figured out before I had a chance to comment. Dr. Cohen did a great job, 30-minute surgery, checkups at one day, one week, and one month. Her vision is just what it’s supposed to be, and I get to see those lovely eyes.
