Cole Haan

I love Cole Haan shoes and this store to me is what the shoe departments at Neiman — Marcus and Nordstrom are to most women. I can find every type of shoe I need and want here. I can even find shoes that I didn’t even know I needed and wanted here. The selection is so vast, I can not figure out why anyone would buy their CH at a department store of other specialty shoe store when you a direct source right here.
In addition to great shoes and boots, they have messenger bags, duffel’s, belts, socks and shoe laces. Selling shoe laces is a big point for me. Have you noticed how some shoe stores sell you a pair of shoes with laces and when you want an extra pair of laces, they tell you they don’t sell laces. Not here, they’ve got’em and they have them in a variety of colors to match your shoes.
Prices may be higher then your typical «shoe store», but you are getting what you pay for and that is a classic well made product. My Cole Haan shoes seem to last for ever and I am hard on shoes. I watch for sales and periodically treat myself to a full priced pair, when I just can not resist the temptation. Which may be very soon, since I found a pair that are screaming, «buy me, buy me». Dorothy had her «Ruby Slippers», so why shouldn’t Steven B have his «Orange Loafers». Orange is my signature color.
The entire sales staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite.

I do so miss this store! They have purses, wallets, belts, tote bags, socks, jackets… and yes! the occasional sale :) Cole Haan may not make the most foo foo trendy it item of the moment hanging off of some star who just got out of back into rehab purses — they make stylish bags which are made very well and will last. The leather tote bag I got from them took me through my Masters degree very handily.
I have purchased shoes and bags from this store. The staff has always been attentive and helpful and they have never failed to offer me a bottle of water. Sure, water is no big deal — but it is a nice touch. If they don’t have something there for you they will hunt it down and have it shipped to you.
As an example of their excellent customer service, I got a nice thank you note card in the mail from the sales girl who sold me my nice summer tote bag. Classy! The prices are not cheap but they aren’t break the bank high either.
The shoes are not the most fancy either but some of them are very comfy. That Nike air business in some of their shoes IS the business! Quality merchandise and craftsmanship along with great customer service makes this a store I really really miss.
