This review is about the cafeteria on the first floor of the Thomas Eagleton Courthouse in downtown St. Louis. Security is tight — expect to go through a magnetometer as this eatery is in a Federal courthouse. U.S. Marshals abound so you can feel nice and safe here. The cafeteria is about what you would expect if you’ve ever eaten in a large federal facility(NOT a prison). Get a salad, get a cold cut sandwich, pick a hot dish(today’s special was corned beef), or have a burger. Use the self serve fountain station or fill your own coffee. I had a cheeseburger that was surprisingly tasty, complemented by fresh piping hot fries made just for me. Nothing special but it hit the mark.
