Critter Sitters

We’ve used Critter Sitters twice for our rather anti-​social cat and have been pleased. Our cat loved snuggling with Linda, our pet sitter, so much so that he wasn’t all that clingy when we got home from vacation. They also leave a «report card» on your pets behavior.
But what I appreciate the most is the attention they pay to details that may not be directly pet related. Linda called us and let us know that there was a gas odor in our house and stayed there with our cat until the repairman arrived and fixed the problem, and then verified that the house was pet safe.

I absolutely LOVE critter sitters! When I travel for work or vacation, the last thing I want to do is leave my cat at a boarding facility with a bunch of other cats and animals. I don’t know… I guess I spoil my cat. Just a little bit.
Anyway, I’ve been using Critter Sitters for the past few years, and they are incredible. Betty is the sitter that usually is assigned to me, and she is wonderful. My cat is a little wary around strangers (and has been known to hiss), but she adores Betty.
Each day you schedule for critter sitters, the sitter comes for 30 minutes, feeds and plays with your pet, changes the litterbox, and if you’re gone for an extended period of time, they’ll even bring in your mail and take out the trash for trash day.
It’s super easy to schedule appointments (and pay) online, which makes things a breeze.
I can’t recommend this place enough!

Critter Sitters by far is the best pet sitting service ever. They have reasonable rates and do not upcharge for holidays like other places I have looked into.
I have two cats and they will come in and change out water/​litter, put out food, play with the kitties for 30 minutes all for one fee. They will even water plants, bring in mail and deal with up to four animals for the same price. They leave a «report card» with handwritten notes of each visit.
If you decide to use them ask for Betty. She is absolutely wonderful and it is clear she loves animals. My boys love her and it is so nice not to have to board them. They are also less anxious with me being gone because I have someone coming in. I would recommend this service to anyone.
The only downside is they do have a certain radius they operate in. I think it may be so that the sitters don’t have to drive a long ways especially if they are going to a house with dogs a couple of times a day.
