Furniture Medic by Scott Cramer

I was given my Grandparents table that was at least 40 years old. The table hosted every Christmas, Thanksgiving, Baby Shower, and Dinner for my family. This table means the world to me. However it was not the prettiest, was an old boring standard brown. The team sanded and stained the table a very pretty color that i was able to select from swatches. When they delivered the table, i cried. It was so beautiful and perfectly done, looks like we just purchased a new table. They took great care of my precious piece of furniture and could not be happier I went with this company!

Was re-​doing some cool chairs I found on Craigslist– needed to have them re-​glued and re-​strapped.
I found Scott and he seemed like the best value for quality work among a ton of other options. He offers service in Saint Louis or you can take your furniture down to his shop in Eureka. The work on my chairs was high quality and affordable compared to the other places I looked at. In the future, if I need furniture fixed, this will be the first place I call.
Would highly recommend.

With two kids things get damaged. Sad but true. We bought a nice leather couch two years ago and I was extremely annoyed to find my five year old sticking his hand into a ripped seam on a seat cushion. A small tear would become a HUGE rip in no time if we didn’t fix it but this was not the kind of couch where you can pull off a cushion and figure out how to sew this up. It had to get fixed so I went to the internet and found the Furniture Medic. They were extremely helpful. Tom deals with upholstery and Scott deals with wood. Tom was able to make a house call in just a few days — he was able to work with our schedule and come over in the early evening. He had all of his tools and supplies — he looked at the tear, told me how he thought he’d be able to fix it, told me how long it would take and got to work. Fortunately ours was a relatively easy fix so he was done in 30 minutes and the price was affordable (certainly cheaper than a new sofa).
I’m sure I’ll have many more accidents to the furniture throughout the years so I’m keeping them in my contacts list.
