This is a review of the lunch dining at Glen Echo Country Club. The food here is very good and differs from typical lunch fare. I often have the salad with steak and blue cheese. It is delicious and substantial.
During the week the restaurant is not crowded for lunch, so there will be a somewhat somber vibe, as you may be the only occupied table in the room. The service is generally very attentive, which isn’t surprising given the few occupied tables.
Definitely eat here if you have a chance. The grounds are beautiful, so just driving to the restaurant is enjoyable.

This is a crazy nice country club in a not so nice part of town. Beautiful grounds, even in the winter. Love the Christmas decorations, friendly staff and some good food. Highly recommend checking into this place for your next event if you don’t mind a drive into north county.
