Holiday Inn Airport West Earth City

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Bed sheets and the bed itself was clean and very comfortable. There is free WiFi and it was surprisingly very good.

Right off I-​70, in a mostly business park area.
The Hotel has a shuttle if needed from St. Louis /​Lambert Airport, and will shuttle to restaurants 5 miles or less.
Check in was outstanding… fast, accurate & friendly.
My room was clean, the beds comfortable, decent TV & wifi.
They have an indoor pool & fitness center.
The restaurant in the hotel is good, i left a separate review there.
Overall, I had a great stay, and would recommend.

Decent Hotel, it is a bit out of the way, but a decent hotel. The rooms are nice, fairly standard, bed, chair, desk… The showers are walk in which can be nice for some. I found that the front desk is hit or miss, the employees seem to be disengaged and not care. When we stayed here there was a breakfast for our group, and we’d say good morning to the employees and never found any that responded…
The stairwell is actually a service stairs, so take the elevator, but the stairs often were cluttered with weird things on the door knobs

Beautiful room with a view of the skyline. Shower was extremely roomy, fridge and microwave were clean too. Overall very nice place. DO NOT recommend the restaurant in the hotel though. Service was terrible, food was mediocre.

This hotel would have gotten 3 stars except for staff attitude and lack of integrity. I have stayed at many HI and Expresses around the US and never have I been treated so poorly and with complete disregard to personal property. The hotel is not corporate owned so the front desk people aren’t really concerned about your plight.

I would have liked to given more stars, the hotel itself was clean and the beds comfortable, however a few items that didn’t meet my expectations necessitated a lower rating.
Check in went smoothly until they noted my service animal. The junior desk clerk, the maintenance guy and another service clerk all asked about the service animal and then demanded that I provide papers. Not sure exactly what they meant by papers as there is no state or federal system for service animals that I am aware of, and in over 10 years of travel I have never been asked to provide ‘papers’. The questions didn’t stop there however, the desk clerk told me there would be a fine of $ 250.00, and then the maintenance guy even asked my partner why he wasn’t using his cane.
The hotel manager mark called the room about an hour later in with what I thought was an apology but after the call ended I wasn’t sure if he actually apologized or was just looking to ask more questions.
The room was okay but the fridge was not on which resulted in warm food by morning which had to be thrown out.
I have enjoyed my previous stays at this location but after a night of stress and little sleep I may have to reconsider future stays here in earth city.

This HI is markedly better than the HI over on Riverport Drive in Maryland Heights. This is not much farther away from the location and is significantly better in every way. I’d highly recommend staying here versus the other HI or HIE locations in this vicinity.

Excellent hotel. Fitness room had good choices of 2 treadmills, ellipical and bike. The bar and grille Malones was reasonably priced and the food was tasty.
