Happened upon this awesome bakery while waiting on my flight at the airport. You walk in and are greeted by so many amazing pasteries! I got a churro which had a delicious filling! This was a family shop. If I lived here I would come all the time! So many choices and very, very fresh!

Sinfully delicious sweet treats. Get the cinnamon-sugar churros if they have them; they are«to die for.»

Just doors down from Las Palmas Mexican restaurant is this little gem. There are large silver trays and tongs located by the door, they are for loading up with all the goodies your little heart desires. Half of the store is the bakery and the other half is a small Mexican grocery. The bakery has huge desserts. All sorts of breads, pastries and sweets. Nothing was really labeled in the different bakery cases or on the various baking racks. Not being familiar with Mexican sweets, I kept wondering what surprise might be baked inside. Some items I could see the filling sticking out, but not sure what that filling could be or what it would even taste like. I went with a churro because actually knew what that was. It was one of the smallest items I could find that didn’t look to intimidating to eat after a Mexican meal. Most of the pastries were large enough to share between four and I was on my way to the airport and couldn’t easily take them with. This place definitely spiked my curiosity enough that I’ll go back to gather a sampling of unique treats, just to say I’ve tried them and know what they are.
