Great haunted house. Really well done and set-up with lots of great props and scenes thrown throughout your tour through the brewery. They do a nice job of surprising with somewhat realistic looking mannequins that blend alongside the various live actors, so you find yourself second guessing whose real and who isn’t. They have a few strobe sections that are pretty cool as well. My one knock is that there really is no plot or rising action to the house. You just sort of walk through various rooms that don’t really build into anything or have particular significance. There is a really cool monitor at the start of one of the lemp family ghosts that warns you about entering, but after that there is no ode back to plot or history.

Buy your tix online. The line was super long to get in for the haunted house since they had to call in every credit card payment! So bring cash, or better yet buy your tickets online and bypass the wait. The haunted house was pretty good. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone to one, but this pretty much met my expectations. was a little short for the $ 20 ticket.

Lemp Brewery Haunted House. We had a really good time. The wait time was not too bad, the staff outside had things together, and the scary actors inside had great costumes. The girls with us screamed and had great fun. Of course us guys aren’t scared of anything. :) It’s also affordable($ 20) and neat to be in the sub-basement under the historical building.

Lemp Brewery hasn’t been a brewery for beer in quite some time. Lemp Beer still exists with a label that says St. Louis but it’s actually produced in another state altogether. Now what’s left of the Brewery has been allocated into a bunch of warehouse space for various businesses. It’s kind of sad but the building is beautiful to look at. I love taking my dog on walks around it. Read the sad story about Lemp Brewery here:
