7⁄27: I made the mistake of using lending tree. 7⁄27: Miike A(his spelling, not mine) from LSI contacts me. By phone for funzies because thats how I prefer to get quotes involving large numbers. Then by email. He asks me to answer 10 questions. The only question which is not answered via lending trees forms is «10) What other info might help us provide you an accurate quote, credit score, etc???». The phone call and the other 9 questions are a redundant failure. 7⁄27: Tony V from LSI also contacts me. He wants the same 10 questions answered. 7⁄27: I tell LSI in very certain terms that I am not interested in doing business with them. 7⁄31: They email asking for a copy of my W2. I’ve already indicated I dont intend on working with them, im not sure what they need the W2 for. 9⁄1: I get spam from LSI. I unsubscribe from the ‘9−1−15′ mailing list. 9/3, 10/12, 10⁄13: More spam. I unsubscribe from the ‘9−3−15′, ’10−12−15′, and ’10−13−15 blast’ mailing lists and become very thankful I did not do business with these people. 10⁄20: more spam. 10⁄20: I contact and in order to resolve the ongoing spam issues. I feel like it should not take an abuse department for a mortgage lender to stop spamming me. Get a quote from these people if you like the feeling of signing up for a shiny new email address and would prefer vague numbers in verbal form, but avoid them otherwise. P. S. According to the BBB, they are not accredited( )

The guy that called my office was a total jerk. He called and asked for me, then hung up when my assistant asked what she could do for him. He then called right back and hung up when she answered. I called the number back because I thought this was odd and«Eric» answered the phone. I told him I didn’t appreciate him calling and hanging up and he said«then don’t call me back» and hung up again. Totally bizarre.

my experience with LSI sucked. Never followed thru on items until I threatened action.. Now, three years later Todd remains a serial email stalker. Give them your email once and you can never shake them. EVER! I have called and been reassured but, alas, they keep coming in. AVOIDTHEM.

We have used LSI more than once for home refinance. The experience has always been professional and prompt. We had plenty of questions during these iterations and they were always addressed quickly with any likely caveats included for clarity. We would certainly use this service again in the future.
