I don’t recommend this office. They fail to return calls. The staff is rude. The doctor(S. Zendor) does not listen but rather jumps to a predetermined diagnosis. After two visits and four no returns on calls, followed by a very rude nursing supervisor, I am starting over.

While I hate leaving a bad review I can’t help but make it known these doctors are great but rude staff like the MA/Nurse Jen S. She was horrible to my family on two occasions and so rude. Worst customer experience I won’t be back nor will any future business come from us. Please look into how your staff treats patients! I’m leaving this review.

The nurse she says to me «Hi, how are you doing»…“Tammy…HI” but before I could even say anything since I am still getting into the hallway and making sure I don’t hit her with my stuff or slip since I am looking down she then suddenly says«YOUCANLEAVE!» I said«what?» She said I HAVEBEENHARASSINGTHEIR staff all morning & she is calling security if i don’t leave right now! At this point I am totally in shock & freaking out-for a slight moment thinking i’m on one of those candid camera shows but she was YELLING at me. I said-I am not going ANYWHERE until I speak to Dr. Zehnder! He then comes out & now all hell breaks loose w/his nurse… He ask me what is going on this morning so CALMLY because I am in dire pain & drastically NEED him to treat me so no matter what this lady’s problem is I need him & start telling him everything. I said it all started yesterday when I tried to make the online appt & via phone, I start telling him the story about how I was treated by the older nurse & how they weren’t there at first & I thought I wasn’t even going to get in since nobody told me anything… THEWHOLE time yes THEWHOLE time HIS nurse said to THEDR. that«WEARENOTTREATINGHER» and«I AMCALLINGSECURITY yes I said SECURITY»! I am dumbfounded by the behavior of his nurse & her horrible unprofessional attitude. I start to explain to the dr. again that his dad had treated me for all my back/neck issues but this was a issue I had w/Dr. Spitzfadden, as I am telling him my history(in the hallway between medical rooms for ANYONE to hear-thinking that violates my HEPA protection in someway) His nurse has then gall to say I have only been there ONCE! I’ve been going there for YEARS w/him being my 3rdDR. He then scuttles me into the 1st medical room, keeps the door opens & argues w/his nurse that everybody needs to «Reset» SHE continues to tell him it’s either MEORHER& that she REFUSES to treat me(I am assuming with blood pressure test, temp, etc) Finally I get it out to him that I believe I have a problem with the muscle in my foot or twisted ankle or something. He BARELY looked at my foot, asked me where it hurt and if I wanted the same treatment w/the injection they shoot in your heel & that’s it. While all this is going on… here is where I lose it… HISNURSESAIDTHISISEXACTLYWHYWENEEDTOSTOPTREATINGHOOSIERS like her! I was now livid. I told the doctor to tell his father when he got back from vacation that I will no longer need his services &HOWDARE she call me a HOOSIER… I make 6 figures a yr & that his nurse is a «B***H» as well as the rest of their staff in front & now I have had it & will be making reports to every single site I can as well as calling the director of the board for their facility over this entire event. I never felt so OFFENDED& mistreated by MEDICALPERSONELL in my life.

Terrible experiece. Prior to being examined was escorted to radiology room for X-rays as «standard and routine for all patients» even though my complaint was clearly soft tissue and no fall/trauma involved. In fact, no one even bothered to ask(other than general forms completed with patient paperwork) how I injured my shoulder. PA performed inadequate range of motion exam; was very vague and noncommittal as to her opinion about the nature of my pain. She recommended steroid shot, minimized risk and side effects. I declined and was referred to physical therapy for«shoulder tendonitis». Oh so there is a diagnosis? Never did see the physician. Called the next day with concern I was not treated properly. Office manager although pleasant offered no correctve actions. Meanwhile I am still in pain and my insurance will pay a lot of $$ for nothing.

Referred to Dr. K. Zehnder for shoulder and groin pain. Dr. Z. diagnosed shoulder pain as torn rotator cuff & gave me a shot which he said, would also help w/the groin complaint. 2 wks later, shot and pain pills had not worked. Called his ofc and was advised by his PA «that it takes time». Two more weeks later, I called again and was advised to come in, only to be told he couldn’t give another shot this soon(30 days later), and gave me a prescript for 12 pain pills. Dr. Z could have done this in our telephone conversation. But why? Another $ 40 co-pay! In my 2nd visit, I again advised that he had not really addressed my groin pain/discomfort… Dr. Z. told me HECOULDONLYHANDLEONETHINGAT A TIME… Needless to say, he’ll never have the chance!!!

If you have the option to go somewhere else for pediatric ortho care, go there and not here. This group staffs it’s clinics with Physician Assistants(PA) and physicians are not even on-site at all times. This was the case when my 3-year-old broke her arm and we were only seen by a PA, who then missed her fracture. No physician on-site. the PA told us my daughter didn’t show enough pain to have a fracture. And, it’s the kind of fracture that would have shown up immediately on x-ray had the correct area been x-rayed. When we actually saw a physician in the clinic over a week later, he suspected right away that my daughter had a fracture and she truly did. It took almost two weeks to get a fracture diagnosis after seeing our pediatrician, the PA, and then an ortho MD – the whole while my daughter stumbling around with a broken arm and in pain.
