Our project was small but spatially difficult in a 90 year old home. They had to move a large oak dresser and armoire up a staircase that turned 90 degrees and restricted by the ceiling/2nd floor overlapping the steps. It required us to have a handyman remove our post and spindles. Even then, the move was challenging. Prosser sent us two experienced and professional movers, Tim and Duane. It was amazing to see them tilt and hoist the armoire under the ceiling and up into the stairwell. They moved the furniture without damaging it or the walls. We will definitely call Prosser when we have future moving needs. Thank you!

I was very disappointed with Prossers. During the first segment of the move it was obvious the movers were stalling since they charge by the hour. Within our house, we had 2 equally sized floors. They started with the bottom floor and finished it within an hour. However, they took 3 hours to move the top floor even though the number of boxes and furniture were about the same. After complaining about how slow they were, they did a better job on delivering my furniture on the 2nd leg. However, it took them 16 total man hours on the first leg and only 6 man hours on the 2nd leg. There is no reason it should have taken 16 hours on the first leg; perhaps 10, but not 16. We were clearly ripped off. They also dropped our treadmill and broke it. They are 50 days into the process of trying to fix it, but haven’t been able to yet. I would recommend finding another moving company.

I called on Prosser’s for both a commercial and a residential move. Both times they were very professional and made sure everything was done to my liking. I highly recommend calling for an estimate if possible, and unlike the other moving companies, I was given direct answers, a clear game plan on coordinating moving day, and no run around unlike other moving companies. For the commercial move, I called upon a dozen STL companies and Prosser’s was fairly priced, easy to schedule, and knowledgeable in finding the easiest/efficient method(so as not to take up any more time, thus increasing your bill).
