I LOVE their lunch/​early dinner specials. The Spiedini is awesome!!! The Chicken and Beef Spiedini are both wonderful, but I always go with the Beef Spiedini. Reasonably priced good sandwiches as well.

I love Rizzo’s great Italian food at a reasonable price. We had our rehearsal dinner here in the back room. Service was wonderful everything tasted great. I love that it is local and not a chain. The Chicken Spiedini is my go to dish.

Very good service and great food. everyone enjoyed their meals and we all had different food. Ate in bar for first time and it was great. Usually eat in the restaurant. Only complaint was restroom was not handicap friendly

Let me start by saying up until last week I hadn’t been to Rizzos in a few years. I remembered being blown away by my food. This time was just «meh».
I had the chicken spiedini, white pasta and a salad. The chicken spiedini and the pasta were alright, but the salad that came with it was sad. The house dressing had no flavor. It had 5 shreds of cheese in it and a few pimentos. Nothing to be excited about. I remember Rizzos food being much better.

It’s a shame that I have to offer such a bad review. A recent experience has left a very bad impression, however. We dined at Rizzo’s again after having enjoyed their pastas. On this occasion, one member of our party ordered a steak. Although she ordered the steak medium, it came out pink on the outside, ruby red inside, and bleeding. She sent it back with only one piece cut out, and when it returned the steak was burned to a crisp. When we asked to simply take it off our bill, the waitress informed us that since the steak was more than half eaten, the manager would not remove it from the bill. One BITE of it was eaten… the steak was now half the original size because it had been reduced to charcoal in the kitchen. Needless to say, we will not be back…

Toasted Ravioli was about the same as you get frozen, at home. Salads were solid. Service a tad slow but very friendly. Fries good.

I hate to leave a bad review. Needless to say it is necessary at this point. Last night I phone ordered a to go order. I was told it would be half hour till ready for pick up. That was around 5:42. My husband arrived at 6:10, and our food wasn’t done till 6:40! While he waited at the bar for our food no body offered him a drink or even apologized for his over extended wait time. My husband even said they were not busy! But the worst part, by far, was the food. We ordered 2 veal cutlet sandwiches, which were over done. Fettuccine Alfredo, which was just ok. And 1 order of cannelloni and lasagna; let me just say they were horrible! They were so salty and tasted like a stouffer frozen meal! Absolutely gross! Sorry rizzos. We will never return again. You seriously need to revamp your extreamly outdated décor and more importantly your food quality! Yuukkkk!

Very nice place for a date or just to have a nice dim setting. The food is great and it has a bar off to the side when you walk in. So it caters to many different walks of life.

Absolutely amazing!!! The wait staff is sooo nice. I have been to places where if the food wasn’t quite how you like it, you are «annoying» the wait staff by asking if it can be changed.
The food was great except it was too garlicy for my girlfriend so they, ever so nicely, offered to add marinara sauce. I was very thankful because we were about to go to the movies and make out.

Took my wife there for her birthday. When we walked in we were pleased by the décor and friendly greeting we received. We both ordered the steak modiga cooked the same way, medium-​well. It was to us in under 15 minutes. We had nice portions and every bite melted in your mouth.

The menu looks so good its very hard to decide and pick one thing to order, I just tried old fashioned spaghetti and meatballs, and the salad too which are both delicious. large portions even with lunch which is a good thing, leftovers. Very friendly waiter and atmosphere is nice and quiet around lunch time can get busy on weekends. Delicious Italian in South County pretty good prices too!

The chicken spiedini was strong to quite strong, toasted ravioli was homemade and very good… Wife had chicken modica, and loved it. My mom had the same thing and said it had too much garlic. Overall a great experience. Crowded on a Saturday night with a lot of blue hairs in attendance… Will be back! We used to go to the rizzos in north county, and this is the exact same menu… Same quality. Get the chicken spiedini!!! Awesome

Early Bird Specials even on Friday! The food here is wonderful, the prices are right, and the service is friendly and efficient. My wife and I keep coming back, especially during Lent for the deliciously Provel covered Cod Cardinale! Oh, and best house salad in St. Louis in my opinion

Stopped in on a Friday night to grab a quick order of spaghetti. I had my newborn son and 4 year old with me. They looked busy but not on a wait (still open tables in sight). I was told by the hostess that I could only order to go at the bar (which was much more crowded then the restaurant). No problem I lugged the pumpkin seat and my daughter and weaved through other patrons staring at me going to the bar with 2 young children. Once I was able to work my way up, I asked the bartender if I could please get an order of spaghetti to go. She snapped back «yeah but it will be 45minutes» –45 min for some par cooked noodles and premade sauce, thanks but I guess my money wasn’t worth it for you! Haven’t been back and don’t plan on it!

Working in the car business, I’m ALWAYS looking for a great deal, without sacrificing quality… Rizzo’s lunch special definitely fits the bill. They’re 8 mins from the dealership, and Chicken Spiedini w/​white pasta was the move. Lightly breaded chicken, charbroiled, drizzled with lemon & olive oil… filling, but not heavy. Add in the shells with alfredo sauce, and a cup of soup, and I was taken care of for the rest of the day. At $ 9.95 apiece, the lunch specials are a definite bargain, and a change of pace from the usual. Definitely intend to come back every so often, since I’m curious about the rest of the menu!

Make sure you’re NOT honest on your review because they WILL send you an obnoxious response. That certainly is the way to conduct business. Our last experience there was horrible so if they want to respond that I don’t know what I am talking about and the server rated me they can rest assured that everyone I know will know the food and service that evening were awful. They should not ask for reviews if they don’t want to know what is going on.

We just had a luncheon for about 10 little girls and theirs dads at Rizzo’s. It was a wonderful event! Everyone loved the food and atmosphere. The kids menu has wonderful choices at very reasonable prices. I have been there several times and I think the food is always wonderful. I also appreciate the coupons they run in the local newspapers.
Spread the word the food and wait staff are wonderful!!!
