This was a horrible decision to use this office. My vision insurance had changed this year and I could no longer see my eye doctor of 17 years. I had read reviews on Rosen and it was convenient to my home. Dr. Steve Rosen did not see to care that I had been successfully wearing Acuvue 2 lenses successfully for 17 years with no issues. He almost made fun of me and stated that there are many new options of contact to try. The dailes he tried to sell me were hundreds of dollars more and then he told me if you are not going to try the dailies to go with Acuvue Oasys. I decided to take his advice. A Month into wearing the new Oasys brand my vision became blurry and the contacts no longer felt comfortable in my eye. I went back to my old doctor and she diagnosed me GPC and that I could not wear contacts for two weeks and return to the Acuvue 2 lenses. I am not a candidate for steroid drops(traditional treatment) since I am currently breastfeeding my baby. After two weeks and returning back to the Acuvue 2 I am till having no success and might have to wear my glasses for 2 – 3 more months. This is horrible for me since I am an active person and I have not worn glasses in many years. I hope that this situation does not happen to anyone else. Trust your gut and do not let these doctors talk you in to a fancy new lense so they make more money. I will never step foot in that office again as it has cost me money, eye irritation, and multiple stresses.

Rosen Optometry used to be associated with LensCrafters, and I loved them then. I used to work a few miles from that location, but when I changed jobs to one 30 miles away, I still went down to Crestwood Mall to see the Drs. Rosen. They are both so friendly and very good at what they do. I have never had a problem with insurance or billing .They hire great receptionists and opticians — the experience never disappoints. The drive is well worth it to me — so if you’re close, you have no excuse!

I started using this location about 10 years ago when I needed glasses and went to Lens Crafters. this was that stores internal eye care place. the doctors are excellent in both their skills and experience, and they go that extra distance to make you feel extra comfortable. The recently moved to this new location in Ronnies Plaza where they have exclusive care over your eyes and carry their own lines of glasses. you may have to wait a little longer for your glasses, but you get quality merchandise and combine that with the customer care and you have a recipe for a perfect store. Rosen optometry takes care of all of our families eye care needs.
