Lots of hype surrounding this place, but I gotta say… meh. The tacos were good overall. We tried pork, beef, and chicken. Meat was tender, well-seasoned, maybe a little too salty. I liked the sauce and veggies in the tacos, and the amount of meat was adequate. The burrito, however, contained mostly rice. For $ 10. I’m assuming they were running low on meat on a super busy Food Truck Friday, but that’s not the way to generate repeat customers.

Love the food at Seoul Taco. The spicy pork burrito is fantastic. If you are extra hungry grab a side of pot stickers and settle in to a wonderful food coma.

The food is really good, but on a Tuesday at 7:45p.m. it took us 33 minutes from order to get our food. They really need to speed things up or I’ll find other, quicker options.

I’ve been a fan of the truck for awhile. I’ve tried the tacos, burrito, quesadilla, and pot stickers. You pick the vehicle and the protein. My favorite is the bulgogi burrito. It’s huge and a good value. The kimchi fried rice is delicious. It adds so much more flavor to the burrito with a hint of spiciness(sometimes spicier than others). The bulgogi has a nice flavor with a hint of sweetness. I am full after eating just one burrito, and I usually can eat a lot! I like the tacos also, but with the burrito I feel it’s a better value and you get the kimchi fried rice! The packaging is nice in that the burritos were fully wrapped in aluminum and the tacos and pot stickers were put in fully covered containers. The service on the truck was fast and the employees were very friendly. I can’t wait to find the truck again!

This truck comes around every so often and I have given in the last two… I love spicy pork and you can tell their ingredients are fresh… however I can’t justify the portion with the price. Spicy pork quesadilla the size of a Taco Bell quesadilla, actually slightly smaller, filled with the exact meat ratio is $ 6. The smell of the grease is overwhelming but the lady taking orders is über nice.

Seoul Taco’s food truck was parked outside of a night event I was attending, so I was pretty excited to finally get to try some of their stuff. They were only offering tacos that night(2 for $ 6), so I tried the spicy pork and beef. They were SO good(possibly exaggerated because I was starving at the time), especially with that sriracha mayo-type drizzle, and I liked the field greens. My main complaint is that the tacos were not very substantial for $ 3 apiece. There could have been more filling or they could have used two tortillas instead of one. The guys working the truck were pretty funny too, so bonus points for that.

Finally the truck was near me last week and I was so happy! I had a spicy pork taco that was small but delish, they tell you the tacos are small and most people eat 3 or 4. All of the food is so reasonable. I also had two orders of potstickers that have 3 in an order. They were so good. Crisp, chewy in a good way, and very tasty! Can’t wait to run into this truck again. Follow them on Twitter so you will know if they are near.

Absolutely great food. Bulgogi quesadilla was near perfect. They post their location daily via Twitter. Get there before noon to ensure you get what you want, as they sell out of some items within the first hour. Waited a total of 45 minutes between the line and getting the food. A little bit aggravating because of a limited lunch hour, but ultimately worth it. Will definitely try out their retail spot in the Loop.

Really delicious take on Korean fair. Personally I enjoyed the Kimchi more than i like regular kimchi because it was less of a rancid taste and more spice and sweet. The bolgogi taco made me want more bolgogi taco. The pot stickers were very good and clearly hand made. I will go back when it is near by my work.

Tried again. Ordered a gogi bowl and wanted pot stickers. This time they had slaw but no pot stickers. Tired of trying to get what I want for lunch. Will probably pass next time this truck comes to my work.

This review is for the restaurant in the loop. GREAT food! Best taste I’ve ever had. I ordered the spicy pork tacos… but I had to have more… so I got a gogi bowl. I was stuffed. Left overs. I got a bumper sticker so I could rep Seoul Taco in another state! I miss that awesome flavor. Would love to just. jet out and grab some great food! Thanks for a great experience. The service was really nice too. Smiling faces all around.

Alright so outside of the office there is a spot where three different food trucks will line up each day. After talking to a few folks, Tuesday is known as Seoul Taco day here. On our first Tuesday in St. Louis I knew I had to check out this food truck especially since I am a huge food track fanatic being from SF and all. Obviously being Korean, makes me crave any type of Korean food especially when it comes to food trucks having eaten at food trucks like Koja in SF and the Gogi truck in LA. So I step outside at 11:30AM to check this place out and there is already a sizeable line growing which makes me pretty excited. I saw that tons of people were ordering the Gogi bowl so figured that would be my choice for lunch. This is essentially a Bibimbap with your choice of protein. Now who does not love some marinated meat Korean style. Pretty solid concept I order my gogi bowl with Spicy Pork as the choice of meat. It comes out in this aluminum dish and a few comments to note here. The portion is actually not that filling which can be good or bad. Good in the sense that you don’t finish your meal and feel like you are going to pass out into a food coma like certain food trucks. Bad because the portions are kind of small for the price you pay. The meat itself was marinated fine but nothing really mind blowing… Sorry Unilocalers. I should probably mention that since I have had so many different Korean bbq trucks around the country it is just hard to compare this joint to some of the best for those food trucks. I think this joint does well in STL because it’s a «one of a kind» deal but unfortunately me it would not be my top choice from all the korean bbq trucks ive eaten at. With that said, I think a welcome addition to the STL scene and something worth checking out for a different type of lunch since I cannot deny my Korean roots.

This is my favorite food truck in the STL area! I always get the Bulgogi(steak) tacos and the steak is amazing! It is very flavorful and tender, has a sweet taste to it which is perfectly offset by the spicy Seoul sauce. Love the fresh greens they put on the taco and the corn tortilla! I’ve heard great things about the potstickers but haven’t been able to try them yet. I’ve only been to the food truck, never to the actual restaurant. As if the food weren’t enough to speak for itself, the service is also great… they are really friendly and work to get your food out fast!

I’ve tried Seoul Taco on two different occasions, and both times, it’s been great. I have only tried the tacos– beef and pork. Could they do more to their tacos? Like a creative kimchi twist, or something better than mixed greens on top, or perhaps sub seaweed and rice for the tortilla? Sure. But, I love korean marinated meats, and this truck satisfies the basic Korean food craving. The wait was approx. 15 minutes to order, and the food came out within 5 minutes. Perhaps they’ve worked on their efficiency. They ran out of potstickers before we ordered, but why would you order potstickers from a Korean food truck anyway? That’s more of a Chinese thing…

Food truck cherry was officially popped today! … Technically there may have been a truck that got there before this one. Cupcake trucks don’t count really do they? Stewart P. Invited the boyfriend and my self for some food truck fun downtown today. We got there a little late, but they still have a couple of items left worth going for. Stew and I both got the Gogi bowls. I got mine with chicken and steak. Super super good! I really liked it. As Stew had mentioned though, it would have been nice to have had some sort of dressing to go with the salad part of the bowl, but it still was tasty. Major kudos to the manager David Choi for giving us free sodas at the end of our meals. He came up to us where we were sitting to see if we enjoyed ourselves. That was a sweet touch he added. I’d like to try more on the menu next time I see them around.

I really had high hopes for this truck — it being in Stl to satisfy my Korean cravings. I am sad to say that it did not live up to its hype. I got the bulgogi and spicy pork tacos. Sure, they were good, then again, what Korean marinated meat doesnt? The tacos just didn’t have soul, no pun intended. Compared to Korean taco trucks in NYC, LA, even Miami, these tacos just felt forced. Forced as in that Korean taco trucks are the hippest thing around so these guys decided to cash in on the action. I chuckled to myself when I received my tacos. There was barely any meat in them and was topped by a spicy gochujang sauce that seemed to be mayo-based and mixed greens. No special made kimchi slaw, or any other creative addition. Just mixed greens… The meat was well marinated but not falling out of my tortilla. I felt like i got very very little value in my $ 5 for my 2 tacos and I’m a petite girl. Value should be one of the top priorities for a food truck. Speaking of tortillas, these tasted like they were bought from Schnucks’ Mexican aisle. Overall, there was no genuine/authentic effort put into something that comes from a food truck. Again, just seemed like they just tried to cash in on the Korean taco craze. However, the service was friendly and fast. I bet many would appreciate that the truck accepts credit cards. I am grateful for the ongoing efforts in Stl to be a contender in competing with the latest culinary trends. I hope this review can put things into perspective.

This is my new favorite food truck. What is with food truck dudes and pork? I tried to order a taco and they told me I must get pork. It’s like they know me, man. Got the spicy pork taco. I wish I had gotten five. SOGOOD. Like, the best thing ever. It wasn’t that spicy, but it was good, great, and amazing. It had the perfect balance of meat, sauce, and veggies. Super fresh. The dudes working were a little frat bro-ish, and as of this moment they are on DOUBLESECRETPROBATION for having the best food to ever pass through the window of a truck. P. S. From now on, I will always believe Browning H. when he says something is good.

Ah… so much has happened since Seoul Taco took my St. Louis food truck virginity back in October. I’ve tried something from every truck that offers veg fare at this point, so I have something to compare my experience to now. And let me tell you… these guys are on top of their game. I’ve dragged my poor boyfriend along to trucks that I knew he wouldn’t be crazy about, and in some cases, like Chop Shop, he actually ended up happy. But the only truck that has made him say«Wow,» and«I’ll go there anytime!» is Seoul Taco. And that’s because of their gogi bowls. I have since tried the tofu tacos, which I liked, but not nearly as much as the tofu gogi bowl. But that’s because nothing could possibly be better. Fresh mixed greens, green onion. carrots, white rice, and your meat of choice, all topped with a fried egg and served with pepper paste? The flavors are fairly simple. And amazing. And at Art Feast today, the tofu in my bowl was highlighted even more than usual, as it was more plentiful. And they cook tofu just the way that I like it, and I’m pretty much a tofu expert at this point. Tofu shouldn’t be so soft that it falls apart easily, but it also shouldn’t be cooked or fried so much that it becomes incredibly chewy. Tofu is all about the texture. And it’s so good that I’m thinking about requesting a special quesadilla next time, with tofu! I like good food. But if there’s something that I love even more than good food, it’s good service, and efficiency. When I emailed a question, they immediately responded. When my boyfriend asked for no veggies, they got it right. And when they hand you your food, they actually WRAP it, and hand it to you with a napkin, and a fork inside the container(for bowls). And when you order a drink, they ask if you want it opened(Jarritos isn’t twist top, and not all of us carry bottle openers on our key chains like frat boys in college). Here’s the thing… it sounds easy enough, and fairly obvious. But A LOT of the food trucks don’t even have containers that make their food transportable. And since it’s a truck, and not a sit down establishment, that’s exactly what has to happen. The food HAS to be transported to be eaten! It’s been a few months since my first visit, and while I’ve tried food at a lot of yummy trucks, I can officially say that Seoul Taco is my fav overall. And they’ve earned 5 stars from me, because even when my meal is coming from a truck, it’s still not only about the food.

East meets… mexico…meets St. louis! Go Cards! Seoul Taco is a Korean/Mexican fusion food truck new to St. Louis. They offer up spicy pork tacos, gogi bowls, and homemade potstickers. Upon walking up to the truck you will notice the bright blue design and big ass taco on the side that reads«Seoul Taco»: pretty cool! I had the pork tacos are they were great! They were not overly spicy which from other reviews said they were. The meet was cooked nicely and was still moist — unlike a lot of korean meets I have had in the past. The customer service was also great! They cooked up the tacos in a timely manner and issued them out in easy to eat on styro-foam boxes. Pros: good food, good service. Cons: none Overall, if you are looking to get into the food truck scene, start with Seoul Taco!

First impression: Seoul Taco is a new food truck catering to the general St. Louis region. Stop by for $ 2.50 tacos: steak(bulgogi), spicy pork, chicken, or tofu. Also new to the truck is the gogi bowl: rice, meat, veggies, egg, and natural flavors. You can find the full menu here: The tacos were good, served on corn tortillas with a good bit of spice I can still taste as I lick my lips. $ 2.50 seemed a little steep, but hey, the food truck market is a little uneven just getting started here in St. Louis. Looking forward to a return visit!
