I think they are using the terms«lake» and«Spanish» pretty creatively here, but overall I was a fan of this quaint and peaceful lake-like pond. I’m trying to do this 30×30-minute hikes thing( ), although it’s a little rough because there is pretty much nothing I hate more in this world than hiking. I take that back. Camping. Wait, no, hiking’s worse. Wait, no, camping. Wait, no, I can’t decide. They are both totally ridiculous forms of recreation, which my distaste for is probably one of the many reasons I will never find love. Lots of people fishing in this lake. It was nice. Many middle-aged people out for their evening stroll. Serene. Saw fish jumping in the water and thought, wow, nature’s not that bad. Then saw a snake and was like, oh fuck, nevermind. 1.4−1.6 miles around this lake makes it pretty doable for anybody, even me. They had bathrooms with toilet paper and flush toilets. Park ranger was on duty in his patrol car. Lots of shelters and playgrounds. People should definitely check this place out.
