Great live music, rich, filling foods, and some eye candy [for those with a sweet tooth :)]. Def worth checking out if you haven’t been, and worth checking again if it’s been awhile.

It is election night in St. Louis — heck Nationwide. I’ve had the intent to patronize a Ferguson /Jennings small owned businesses. Personal opinions aside, we all have a role to play in supporting our city and its economic health. I went to Swiish because when I was watching the news one evening I saw this local proprietor being interviewed. A family business, they put all their savings and even 401(k) from working corporate America jobs to open up a new business. Unbeknownst to them their new business would be the hub of the command center for the West Florissant protests etc. What I wanted wasn’t available but the young lady that took my order was very apologetic and said that they had simply run out and the truck will be in tomorrow. No foul no harm, there were plenty other items on the menu to choose form. I ordered Chicken Philly fries and a fried polish sausage sandwich with fries. Though the wait was a little long and the price rather high(I have seen comparable items at similarly positioned locations with lower prices) the food was good. Looks like they have cool happy hours specials and as I was leaving a DJ was coming in. Give Swiish Sports Bar & Grill a go if you are in the area.
